The 11 best cafés in Hamburg for breakfast
Is your closet more like a closet? You can easily change that in Hamburg. Especially in the cold season, needy people like homeless and refugees still have to freeze and are dependent on donations. And people who have to make do with little money are also happy about new clothes. We have selected eleven points of contact where you can bring well-preserved clothes to the man and woman with a clear conscience.

The angels in the streets ensure that the needs of the homeless in Hamburg are not only alleviated by clothing, but also in a pastoral manner. Donations of money and goods are welcome, especially during the cold season, especially winter clothing, which you can also have picked up by the volunteers. For more than 17 years, the CaFée with heart on St. Pauli has been doing its part to help up to 300 homeless people in Hamburg get through the day with hot meals. Showers, social advice and the in-house clothing store are also part of the social facility. Donations of clothing are also welcome and can be handed in on site in the café.

In Oxfam stores, donated items are sold by volunteers – the donations go to own projects against poverty in developing countries. There are three Oxfam stores in Hamburg, located in Wandsbek, Ottensen and Hoheluft. It is best to hand in your clothing donations directly to the local shops.
