With spring, the great flea market time finally begins again. And in addition to unique browsing events like that Giant flea market on Theresienwiese on April 27, 2019 there are many other flea markets where you can try your luck. Our favorites after a lot of research: the book flea market on the Isar promenade (like in Paris!), The finally regular flea market on the Grünspitz and the Daglfinger flea market, which takes place every week. Here you can shop for the most beautiful antiques in front of the panorama of the racecourse.

The Crimea & Krams flea market in the Bahnwartter is a real paradise for treasure hunters: besides knick-knacks, art, Props, fashion and costumes are also available here for the flea market edition. Junk was yesterday, the future is junk & To dance. From the March 10, 2019 the party continues every second Sunday of the month.

Our favorite season, the yard flea markets, starts on May 04, 2019 in Neuhausen. At the May 11th you can then cheerfully through Untergiesing and the Au stroll on May 18 by Haidhausen and on May 24th through the Ludwigsvorstadt. Then it continues on June 1st in the Slaughterhouse and Dreimühlenviertel and on June 8th in the Westend. The season runs until October 20, 2019 and ends with a premiere flea market in the fasanerie. Perhaps the best flea market in Munich is at the Olympia Parkharfe – every Friday and Saturday, spaces are reserved in the large car park from 7 a.m. There are really cool things here at real flea market prices. And a small food truck will provide you with fries, specialties and everything that will help you hang out or strengthen you after a long flea market session.

There are always book flea markets in Munich, including the Student council German studies the LMU. Accordingly, you will find mainly German classics, reclam booklets and German literature books. The flea market takes place in the foyer of Schellingstrasse 3. The location is a bit hotter Lisar book flea market this year with an early summer appointment on June 29, 2019 and an autumn edition September 14, 2019. This year there will be a book and reading mile directly along the banks of the Isar (quite French!) From Maximiliansbrücke. If you don’t want to buy anything, come and listen to the readings on the banks of the Isar! For real bookworms there is also then also the summer flea market of the city library in Sendling on June 4, 2019.

The flea market season includes an accessory like mustard on sausages: a nifty bike. You can find these in the finest selection on all the bike flea markets that Munich has to offer. Not to be missed in the list is of course the large bike flea market in the city of Munich on April 13, 2019 in the zenith. But the Velóterie or the Stahl-Archiv also have smaller flea markets with an exquisite selection of bicycles.

Here you will find everything your vintage heart desires: porcelain, jewelry, clothes, furniture, picture frames, lamps and much more. The Antikhaus also has snacks and drinks. Really a worth seeing flea market!

The midnight bazaar is always looking for cool off-locations that are currently empty. Last year it was the Bussi Bussi Bavaria directly at Theresienwiese, in 2019 it is the riding hall next to the city archive. Cool events and flea markets are always taking place in the large hall – let’s start with the Midnight Bazaar March 9 and March 23, 2019. There are not only clothes here, but also everything else useful and superfluous at 300 stands. In front of the hall you can also order all delicacies from street food stands and food trucks – from vegan to Asia to burgers. And for all those who can’t get enough of the Midnight Bazaar: The Fashion Block is now also a fashion edition of the night market. Here you can, for example, on March 19, 2019 to re-dress.

The proceeds from the MS Bazar, which takes place four times a year, support those affected and their relatives in Bavaria. The flea market has been around since 1973, everything started in a small private apartment, now you meet for one of the largest voluntary charity bazaars across Germany in the MS Bazar warehouse in Trudering (near the animal shelter). Here you will find second-hand fashion and all sorts of things for the home – and all at very low prices. The next dates are on 22. and March 23, 2019!

At the flea market in Riem, it pays to be there early, because you can still find real bargains here. But late risers will also definitely find what they are looking for on the huge flea market, which is the largest open space flea market in Bavaria with 100,000 square meters. You can really spend the whole day at the flea market in Riem and in between you can have a look at FlohRis Almcafe – there are burgers, cakes and sweet waffles.
