Northern Germany’s largest theme park, the Heide Park Resort in Soltau, captivates with the “Flight of the Demons”, the new, fast-paced ride, Krake, Colossos, the largest wooden roller coaster in the world and over 40 other attractions and shows. In freefall, for example, Scream, the world’s tallest gyro drop tower, takes you down in a flash. You can only experience this in Heide-Park Soltau. In the world’s largest bird park in Walsrode, 4,000 birds in 700 species live a turbulent life. The 240,000 square metre, picturesque park landscape offers walk-in theme houses, tropical halls, aviaries and a breathtaking open-air flight show. The Weltvogelpark Walsrode is also botanically highly worth seeing.

A safari tour like in distant Africa awaits you in the Serengeti Park Hodenhagen. In the animal, water, monkey and leisure country of the Serengeti Park you can look forward to exciting adventures. You drive your car through the Serengeti Park and can observe all the animals at close range, just like on a real safari. In some areas it is not allowed to get out of the car, in others it is only possible to explore on foot. In the 3-star lodges you can even spend the night in the Serengeti Park Hodenhagen.

Bispingen has two attractions to offer. Ralf Schumacher has opened his Kart & Bowl Center here and now offers over 200,000 visitors a year rapid rides on over 100 karts. Especially attractive is the 1 km long outdoor track, which is even suitable for rain.

Right next door is the Snow Dome. Skiing at any time of year, in summer simply a snowball fight, or a hearty hut party. Here is something going on. In front of the hall you can still surf on the biggest wave in Northern Germany.

And the Crazy House is upside down. Have you ever been to a house where everything is upside down? Come to Bispingen, you will be surprised. Your sense of orientation plays tricks on you one after the other.

Embedded in the charming heath landscape on the edge of the nature reserve, the Wildpark Lüneburger Heide invites you to stow away and relax. With over 1000 animals and approx. 130 different species, the Lüneburger Heide Wildlife Park is the most species-rich wildlife park in the north. Here you can discover very special animals such as snow leopards, Kodiak and brown bears, coatis, wolves, moose, lynx, reindeer, wapitis, polar foxes, wild cats, raccoons, water buffalos, Poitouesel and prairie dogs. Children love the freewheeling area where deer can be fed from the hand.

The Egestorf barefoot park is unique in Lower Saxony. The approx. 14 ha large nature experience park is located directly at the edge and within the nature reserve “Lüneburger Heide”. On a length of 2.7 km you can experience your vitality anew according to Kneipp principles. You pass through 60 stations of diverse natural soils on winding paths through forests, meadows, fields and streams. You can experience nature in a new way – many adventure stations such as smell boxes, tree telephones or crawl tunnels are waiting to be discovered. Next door there is a foot spa where fish nibble on your feet.

In the Black Mountains Game Park just outside Hamburg, you can discover the European wildlife in its natural surroundings on 50 hectares of parkland. Especially children like to observe the way of life of more than one hundred different animal species. Here you can see animals at close range, hiding from humans in the great outdoors. And here you can even feed the otherwise so shy deer from your hand! Of course there are also petting enclosures with goats and pot-bellied pigs.

In the centre of Otter in Hankensbüttel, the fun of experiencing nature is in the foreground. Where is it possible to see the otter and its closest relatives, the badger, the polecat, the stone and pine marten in their natural habitats? On more than 60,000 square metres, these rare, extremely shy animals can best be observed at the show feedings that take place every quarter of an hour. In a direct dialogue with the animal caretakers, no questions remain unanswered.

In the Müden Wildlife Park, on an area of ten hectares, idyllically situated along the original villages, you can observe wild animals in their natural habitat. With a circular hiking trail and organic nature trail, the park offers recreation and an exciting discovery trip to moose, red deer, fallow deer and raccoons.

The film animal park is located in Eschede. Here you can admire animals you know from television. You can also learn how the animals are trained. This park is spectacular for children.

Shopping is part of your holiday. In the Designer Outlet Soltau you can do this with 30-70% discount. Many well-known brands invite you to browse in the shops, which are summarized in the appearance of a heath village.

On the Quad Railway in Bispingen you can do fast laps with the Quad. The sand track is ideal for this and provides a lot of fun and action.
