Theater, that "Festival of the moment", is a conscious, intensive way of dealing with ourselves. The role approach and interpretation is connected with a curious open Look at us and others. And the wonderful thing is always the surprise.

The focus of the courses is on dealing with the role and with oneself. Improvisation and interaction, knowledge of the individual craft of the actor, stimulation of one’s own imagination, as well as the importance of impartial listening and watching as an important part of the acting work I want in these courses convey.

Based on the theater forms of Stanislawski and Brechts, many different acting methods flow into the work. Acting is made up of a wide range of specialist areas! In addition to teaching techniques, it is always and and above all about the playful, lively discovery of your own potential. The player is made aware of the wide range of his expressions.
The workshops are aimed at everyone interested in theater (beginners, advanced and professionals). We work in small groups (max. 12 participants) to ensure, in addition to group work, a targeted, individual approach to each individual. My course participants are usually between 16 and 75 years old and come from all over German-speaking countries and beyond. Participants under the age of 18 need the consent of a legal guardian.
The lecturer: Anne Kathrin Madeleine
Born in Munich, raised in Heidelberg, I began my acting training after graduating from high school at the theater college "Ernst Busch Berlin / Rostock" and graduated in 1994 with a diploma.
Since then I have played as a permanent member of the ensemble or as a guest at various theaters.
Since the subject of voice training / speech training was of great importance in my training and has always fascinated me, I started training as a breathing teacher using the method "Functional respiratory therapy" after Dr. Parow.
In addition to my work as an actress, I discovered my joy in teaching early on and have been teaching at theater schools, universities and educational institutions for more than 18 years. With my husband and two children, I moved to the Drôme Provençale and founded the international cultural center there " La Vivandiere", whose artistic director I was from 2009 to 2017. Since 2018 I have been concentrating completely on my theater work

In further training as an MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction) lecturer.
In addition to my group workshops, I offer coaching and preparation for entrance exams at drama schools. So far, many of my students have passed the entrance exam at stately drama schools.

I think it’s one of the greatest things I’ve done in the past few years.
You write on your website that it is only about acting, not a means of self-awareness. That’s right and that’s not how I experienced the days. Nevertheless – to come out with emotions, even if they are "just" played and not felt deeply, but only modeled, it triggers something in you, not intended, but it happens to you. At least, that’s how it was for me, and I’m very grateful for that too, because – beyond the show – I was able to drive home with something that I wasn’t expecting in the least.
