Our opinion
Our family center is located in the Neuhaus castle in the immediate vicinity of the castle with its extensive castle and floodplain park.
Despite the closeness to nature, our day care center is also centrally located to the old town center of Neuhaus Castle with many cultural facilities such as the open-air theater, the natural history museum, the castle library, the indoor pool, the weekly market, the sports halls and various schools.
The facilities of the sponsor of Caritas Wohn- und Werkstätten in the Archdiocese of Paderborn e are also nearby. V. with the special needs kindergarten, the special school for intellectual disabilities, the workshops and a dormitory for people with disabilities.

Admission criteria for the day care centers of the city of Paderborn
The admission criteria are based on the legal requirements of the Child Education Act (KiBiz).
The admission takes place at the beginning of the kindergarten year on 01.08. basically according to the available places in the respective group forms according to §19 KiBiz.
The key date for admission in the respective group form is the age of the children on November 1st. the day of admission.
The children are admitted with the help of a ranking list.
The following criteria are taken into account and scored:
- Professional activity of legal guardians
- Single parent legal guardians
- Funding needs, especially language needs
- Special family burdens
- Pedagogical reasons
- Residence in the social area
