Barefoot shoes for the baby?

We adults are often amazed at how flexible our children’s feet and toes are. With babies and toddlers they are protected by a thick pad of fat and the skin is still supple and soft. The Toes need a lot of movement and especially in babies, worm-like movements can be observed again and again. Often the feet are bent slightly inwards after birth and the typical longitudinal arch only develops with growth.

The feet are a sensitive touch organ and naturally created with as many nerve cells as our hands. It is therefore no wonder that children have a lot of fun moving around without shoes.

Babies don’t need sturdy shoes yet, they would only unnecessarily restrict freedom of movement. For children before the age of running, sock shoes are practically the only thing that baby feet really need alongside ABS socks and leather slippers.

Baby shoes and stopper socks

In addition to anti-slip socks, babies and toddlers are also familiar with small leather shoes, often referred to as baby shoes or leather slippers. Warming socks are only needed when the floor is cold or when the game has calmed down. Suitable here protect ABS socks or stopper socks, well warmed and with optimal freedom of movement when romping.

Socks or shoes?
