What is Professional Dental Cleaning (PZR)?
The PZR is an intensive cleaning with special instruments, sound or ultrasonic devices as well as powder jet devices. Its aim is to remove all hard and soft plaque above and below the gingival margin that is pathogenic or aesthetically disturbing. In this way caries and periodontitis can be effectively prevented and a well-groomed mouth appearance can be achieved. By reducing the pathogenic bacteria, professional tooth cleaning also makes an important contribution to overall health, because scientific studies prove that periodontitis is associated with an increased risk of heart attack and stroke. Home Bleaching
Individual splints are made in the practice for this treatment. The patient receives the splints with the bleaching gel at home, fills the splints with a little gel and wears them for a few hours daily until the desired result is achieved.
