Blogger Tour: My Highlights of the International Toy Fair 2018

My highlights of the toy fair in Nuremberg
An exciting weekend lies behind me: Friday I was still late in Hamburg at an event of the parents editorship in the publishing house of Gruner & year in Hamburg. Saturday morning it was already at 6.15 clock in the direction of Nuremberg, where I am one Blogger Tour was invited to the toy fair. 2902 exhibitors from 68 countries presented about 1 million products here, including almost 100,000 new products. From my highlights and the advantages and disadvantages of a organized fair tour I want to tell you today.
Advantages and disadvantages of an organized blogger tour
The pros AND cons of a guided tour: The Time window per stand are extremely tight! This means: you can see in no time crazy many stalls and products, always has one Contact Person at hand and can in a few hours a good overview of the most important news gain. Of course, there is not much time left for questions. The guide makes the visit to the fair but extremely effective and so you can create in 3 hours more than usual on a whole day. For detailed discussions, you can then return to the corresponding stalls after lunch. What I particularly like about Nuremberg is that the organization is very professional overall. Lockers, workstations and free drinks are available in the press center before and after the tour. But now I want to show you which products I really liked this year.
My fair highlights 2018
Alpha Mods P.D. from majorette
Do you know the roller coaster Alpenexpress Coastiality in the Europapark Rust? This will offer a new highlight from March 24, 2018: the “Virtual Reality Ride“Through the futuristic world of Ultraville, where visitors can immerse themselves while driving by wearing VR glasses. The matching vehicles, walkie talkies, etc. will soon be available both in Alpha Mods P.D. Shop in the Russian theme area of the European Park as well as from August 2018 to be commercially available. At least I can not wait for this VR roller coaster ride try!
Lisbeth of “One is always screaming” tests the VR glasses!
Robo Chameleon of Silverlit
The cute one chameleon with the Kulleraugen has the Toy Award won in the PreSchool segment. It is controlled by remote control and can “eat” small metal food pieces with its tongue covered with magnets. For this to work, the children must of course rank clever. Funny!
