Blogs for usa fans

A lot of US love: blogs for USA fans

That one me quite a big US fan am, should be well known to most of you who have been following me for some time. Anyone who has ever been infected with the America virus knows what I’m talking about. Not only do I love to travel there as often as possible and report on my experiences; I also absorb pretty much every article about USA travel on other blogs. This may be the tenth blog post on the West Coast – as different as we bloggers are, as different are the blogs and the way of traveling. That’s why I want you here – not quite complete – List of blogs with interesting and great USA articles present.

This is America

Make yourself comfortable and enjoy browsing and discovering!

safe Travels

Safetravels is all about one of my favorite regions in the US: The Southwest. Silke and Markus have been visiting this stunning part of the USA regularly for years and have already gathered a lot of brilliant travel reports and tips on their blog. Who follows the two, realizes that it has done to them especially the Grand Canyon. Gladly I read here also because there are, especially for the walks in the southwest detailed descriptions – whether for beginners or advanced. An aspect on the edge: Like me, Silke is also afraid of heights. That’s why you can often read at Safetravels if the goals for soft knees described above cause problems for people like us.

Countryatheart

Claudine writes on Country at heart about traveling the United States on the East Coast, but especially about the Southern States she loves, just as I lost her heart. There you will not only find classic travel reports, but also route suggestions and a lot of information & Tips on American lifestyle in the US. Whether country concerts, recipe ideas or shopping tipshere you will certainly find something as a USA fan. The lifestyle lives Claudine, who also worked for a while in Philadelphia, partly at home in beautiful Munich. Claudine regularly shares her daily life and travel experiences with us on Instagram. Perfect for those who are addicted to new USA fabric for in between. ;)

Synke-Move

Synke has been traveling the US for 20 years – everything started with an AuPair year in Kansas and a job in New York, where she has made many friendships over the years. On her Synke-Unterwegs blog, Synke not only writes about her trips to the US and around the world, but also about vegan travel and travel photography. For example, how best to photograph in the Antelope Canyon. For me, this is very helpful and understandable written – the images also ensure a decent wanderlust. I also like to remember our tour together through the USA when we were traveling together on a big road trip in the western US – from Seattle via the Yellowstone to LA: What we experienced there, you can read with Synke and me.

Travel Photography

Thomas and Melanie’s blog Travel Photography is, as the name implies, mainly about traveling and photography. The fact that the US is one of her favorite travel destinations, you will notice quite quickly, if you rummage on her blog. Since they travel to the US at least once a year, many extensive articles and information have come together. Whether it’s the Nascar race in North Carolina, the motorhome driving through the Southwest, or New England car hire in October – I like their beautiful landscape shots and day-to-day travel stories, often spiced with a pinch of sarcasm and humor.

film tourism

Many movie fans will be familiar with Andrea’s Blog Film Tourism by now. We both share the love of film and of course the USA. As she prepares to filming in Hawaii, where her next trip to the United States leads her, I find on her blog again and again spots that I would like to see as a film and serial fan once. But even so, you can pull out a lot of travel tips from your USA articles for your own trip or just dream away, like here in magical North Carolina. Hach. Simply beautiful, right? Incidentally, as a guest author, I was also allowed to contribute two articles to filming locations in the southern states and the western US.

Ai see the world

If Saskia does not travel anywhere else in the world, she also regularly goes to the States. Here I immediately get a dose of sunshine feeling, because on her blog Ai see the world you will find numerous travel reports on Florida as well as informative articles on route planning, costing, and general tips on vacation in the States. Such as driving or eating out in the US, which I find very convenient and useful. With their great pictures I get a good mood and I want to go right back!

Foodsister in travel mode

You are looking for the coolest food locations in the USA? Then you should definitely visit Nadine’s enchanting Blog Foodsister in travelmode! At least once, if not twice a year, America’s Fan Nadine travels to the States, bringing not only delicious American recipes to make, like those cute Independence Day tarts, but beautiful photos that greatly enhance my yearning for the United States. Fortunately, Nadine shares it with us on her Instagram channel, as well as from her last tour to the West at Christmas time.

Reisewut.com

I’ve also been reading on Andreas Blog Reisewut.com for a while now. Besides Iceland, traveling to the US is one of the main topics on the blog. There are now 14 USA travel stories from 12 years on Reisewut.com. Whether classic road trip in the West, Honeymoon in Florida, travel with child or cruise – there is something for every taste. In the daily travel reports Andreas takes you directly on tour again – with all its highlights and glitches. Such reports always help me a lot with travel planning and I think that’s the way some of you are. As with all the bloggers that I introduce here, I am also convinced by the great photos he brings from his trips.

Anemina Travels

With Anna and her blog Anemina Travels, I immediately think of Hawaii. The fact that she has fallen in love especially with this island chain, you can tell very much and her articles would be my first point of contact, if I should make it there. As a trained American, Anna moved to the US earlier. Whether road or city trip, – with Anna I find interesting facts and often exciting stories about their travel adventures. Also recommended is their city series “11 times 1 for …” – for example, Portland. Most recently, Anna spent 2 months in California with her husband and son on parental leave – I’m looking forward to reading more about it soon.

Welcome wanderlust

Welcome wanderlust! The name is here program! Kerstin and Klaus focus almost exclusively on North America. In the meantime, they are even traveling in threes and bring great articles from their tours. I swallowed up your report about a 50-day trip in a motorhome – even though I’ve never been on the camper myself before. But that’s exactly why I find such articles all the more exciting! Who knows, maybe it will kindle the desire for a camping trip in the USA? Of course you will also find other great posts and information on their site – how about an article about Christmas in August in Yellowstone?

Miss Draussen

On Kathrin’s blog, Miss Draussen, in the course of my research on traveling as a woman, I found myself alone in the USA. I remember well, as I thought, Kathrin travels alone to Alaska – how crass is that ?! And is there also hiking and camping alone? I was very impressed. For whom as a solo traveler (r) may be a level more, who would like to like to wander extensively in the vastness of the American landscape – whether desert or in the mountains, which should definitely look over at Kathrin. She describes her tours detailed and unadorned, which I really like and I think is extremely helpful. It always gives me pleasure to read about their adventures in the USA.

Photo Travelers

Biggi and Flo are behind the phototravellers and, like all of us who are represented here, can not escape the fascination of the USA. So it happens that you often find them on road trip through the States. Only last year, the two were again on a grand tour of the western United States. On her travel, outdoor and photoblog, in addition to various walks, especially the photographic aspect plays a major role – in addition to the reports and detailed tips for travel, you will find concrete information on her page, how to get the most out of your photos. In addition, the two have been in the United States already in places on the road, which I probably do not get as fast as the Alstrom Point in the southwest or the Cathedral Valley in Utah. All the more beautiful that I can dream with their breathtaking shots there.

Coconut Sports

A lot of USA content is also available at Coconut Sports. Blogger Franziska is always attracted by the private and professional life across the pond. The native of Munich works as a flight attendant and is therefore very often in the land of unlimited possibilities – how ingenious is that a good thing, right? She often combines her work assignments to explore the area in a short time. The result is great blog articles with tips to the point, such as New York cherry blossoms, tips for a day trip around San Francisco or Fun Factor like this one here on Washington DC.

Feed me up before you go-go

I can not say exactly how I came across Sabrina and Steffens blog, but once I landed on her site, I got stuck directly and rummaged through her wonderful USA article. After all, in addition to all sorts of culinary delights, such as her ingenious food guides for various regions or cities, such as here Savannah, the two of course write about their experiences, sights and tips on their travels. It’s always fun to travel and I’m happy about the recommendations in the food guides – even though unfortunately I often fail to find the great locations on site.

Takly on tour

Anyone interested in traveling to North America, camping and traveling with babies is in the right place on Tanja’s blog Takly on tour. The last trip to the States led Tanja and her little family for a longer tour by motorhome through the southwest. So if you’re planning a motorhome road trip (with a kid) through the West, on your blog you’ll get lots of specific travel planning information and practical tips for your on-site holiday. Above all, I like the detailed travel reports for the respective tours – you do not want to stop reading.

Sword on tour

I have not known the blog of Schwerti aka Stefan for so long, like many others, but since then I like to follow here. Like me, he is, among other things, even as a solo traveler in the States on the road and likes to take trips away from the famous hotspots. On his trip around the world, it has hit him especially in the northwest of the US, a region that is not yet so crowded with tourists. Since you do not find too many blogs where you read about traveling alone in the US, its page is interesting for anyone who plans to do that and for example, staying in hostels is as foreign as it is for him or me. ;) This year Stefan is going to Alaska and I’m looking forward to read about his adventures!

Mighty Traveliers

The Mighty Traveliers are Corinne and Laurens. If the road trip fans in America are on the road, you can actually be sure that the two experience so much and come back with exciting and sometimes bizarre stories. Then there are stories about visiting a budding sheriff in Texas or typical American events like a demolition derby, or you can see how a hike takes place in the two, in which Laurens has to face his vertigo. Refreshingly different, you get a very different insight into the American culture and their wonderfully written stories bring me to smile again and again. Makes you want more of the “real” America!

USA Unpauschal

On USA-lump-sum I stumbled upon Instagram by chance some time ago. Katharina and Nathalie share their US love here and report on their trips to the land of opportunity. Her blog is one of the few that focuses exclusively on the US. As America Addicts, they regularly travel the States and process their impressions and experiences on the blog. Travel reports that take you across the US also include extensive coverage on topics such as accommodation, car rentals, food, and the American lifestyle. Just recently they were back on tour in Florida and brought insider tips from locals. Attention, wanderlust danger is guaranteed!

Take a hike

Especially in recent years, Daniel has moved to the USA, especially in the Southwest. Armed with camera and tent, he writes extensively on his hikes in the USA on his rather young blog Take a hike. With him you will find detailed reports on Hikes off the popular hiking trails, such as the Coyote Gulch & Devils Garden, of which I have never heard of. In addition to beautiful shots, he writes quite unadorned and directly, what he experienced on his walks so. For those who like to be more adventurous on the road, just right!

Photo: Take a hike

Last but not least I would like to mention Jan and Imke von Hikelust, whose blog I also liked to read. Unfortunately, they have recently discontinued their project Hikelust. On her side you can still find some of her beautiful pictures from the southwest.

So, these were the blogs of my dear blogger colleagues, in which I like to rummage for new US content. I hope you have discovered some new blogs in this list and got inspiration for the next trip to the USA. Since I do not have all the blogs on the screen, where you can find regular content from the land of unlimited possibilities, feel free to write to me if you have a blog about your trips to the US. Or:

Tell me which blogs I may have forgotten here and you like to read.
