Poland is a very child friendly country. In front of many larger shops you will find play equipment, often for money usually 1 zloty (about 0.25 €), you will find in the shopping malls often areas where the children can play or be handed over for support. Children are a big market in Poland, as Polish families hardly save on children.

In the seaside resort Niechorze are distributed throughout the season from May to September throughout the town, commercial playgrounds for children built as well as several amusement parks and carousels. On the beach you will find a large waterslide and distributed several inflatables. For teens and young adults, there are several beach volleyball opportunities right on the beach.

One of Rewal’s most interesting sights, especially for children but also for the young at heart, is the historic narrow-gauge railway "Retro Express". He leaves Gryfice every morning and drives the whole day through the seaside resorts: Trzęsacz, Rewal, Niechorze, Pogorzelica. With a hissing and snorting steam locomotive and the historic cars you feel transported back in time. Out of season, the whole fleet can be admired in the nearby county seat Gryfice (German: Greifenberg) in the local railway museum.

The attraction for the whole family are horses and stables. Riding in the riding arena or outdoors is possible on several riding stables in Pogorzelica (Stajnia Czachary), in Rewal (“Koński kierat”) and in the Palace in Trzęsacz. Carriage rides and horse rides on the beach are also organized in the early morning hours. The most impressive are the trips to the beach during the sunset. Less adventurous is renting a carriage and going on a tour with the whole family. Of course, the riding stables also offer riding lessons for adults, beginners and advanced.

In Niechorze there is the most beautiful historic lighthouse on the Polish coast. This perches on a 20m high cliff on the beach. The 45 meter high building is a symbol of the holiday region Rewal-Niechorze and one of the biggest tourist attractions.

Of the Lighthouse of Niechorze is open daily and can be climbed up to the viewing platform via about 200 steps. There you can admire the beautiful view. You can see the beautiful landscape over many kilometers, the seaside resort Niechorze, the edge of Rewal, the lake Liwia Luza, coast and of course the sea. Supposedly one should recognize in good weather even the Swedish island of Bornholm.

Next to the lighthouse you will find one interesting for children and adults miniature Park , By all the existing in Poland (as well as 2 former) lighthouses in the scale 1:10 are constructed. The coastal formation of the Polish Baltic Sea coast from Świnoujście to behind the Gdańsk Bay is shown to scale along the paved road. The entrance fee includes a German-speaking guide that can explain many interesting details.

Also at the lighthouse is a butterfly Park where the children can not only admire rare species of butterflies and, above all, huge butterflies, but also sit on their hands or arms.

In the newly built restaurants in front of the lighthouse is a Waxworks with many interesting exhibits, especially many from film and the current children’s series.

In Niechorze is also the Museum of Sea Fishing . It is located directly on the main road not far from the confluence of the Szczecin Street to Villa del Mar. You will find there in the exhibition a collection of exhibits from the field of small fisheries, the wildlife of the Baltic Sea and tools and tools used in fishing.

During the holidays, the Villa del Mar offers interesting family offers for children. Thus, e.g. Up to 2 children free of charge when traveling with 2 adults during the spring break in February.

At the sports complex of the seaside resort Niechorze you will find a skate park with various facilities for the sporty youngsters. In the sports complex you can also rent bicycles.

The large 800-bed spa hotel Sandra in Pogorzelica on the outskirts of Niechorze offers a public swimming pool with water slides and other attractions for children. The nearest public swimming pool complex is located in Kołobrzeg, about 40 km away. The Aqua Millennium Park offers a swimming pool and recreational sports, children’s pools, three waterslides, four Jacuzzi tubs and many water attractions.

Huge dinosaurs are always an impressive experience for the children. A few kilometers north of Kamien-Pomorski behind the first branch to Pobierowo you will find a newly built dinosaur park with many interesting replicas of huge and smaller dinosaur species.

When driving to the county seat Gryfice (German Greifenberg) you can also visit the slightly smaller shopping center Galeria Hosso. There is also a playroom for smaller children full of colorful pearls and balls and some attractions.

The Villa del Mar is known as a very child-friendly hotel. In addition to the coffee garden is a play, digging and climbing area for the small children, in the restaurant you will find a play area with popular games and colorful painting things. The swimming pool area of ​​the beach hotel Villa del Mar is also very popular with children, especially because of its pleasant warm temperatures both inside and outside the swimming pool. Of course, with only 14 suites in the Hotel Baltic Sea Poland, no child care or extra children’s areas are offered – this is then the large holiday hotels reserved.
