"Everyone should make the world a little bit better with their lives."

Year after year, we like to watch the little Lord Fauntleroy (Ricky Schroder), a boy from the simplest of backgrounds, as he uses his ingenuity and zest for life to cool the cold heart of his rich, powerful and strict grandfather, the Earl of Dorincourt (Alex Guinness ), warmed.

Three hazelnuts for cinderella (CSSR / DDR 1973)

"Look, look. uh. highness!"

Everyone agrees on one thing: at Christmas you have to go at least once "Three hazelnuts for cinderella" have seen. Ideally with the whole family, snuggled together under a blanket. Because the story about the Prince (Pavel Trávníček), who has little to do with court life and one day meets Cinderella (Libuše Šafránková), simply never grows old.

Sissi (Ö, 1955)

"Sissi!"
"Frrranz!"

Even if the content of the Sissi trilogy has absolutely nothing to do with Christmas – the three films about the Austrian Empress and Queen of Hungary are an integral part of Christmas. After all, what could be more fairytale than a young girl from Possenhofen in Bavaria (Romy Schneider), who as the daughter of the Duke of Bavaria (Gustav Knuth) has blue blood, but doesn’t want to have anything to do with courtly constraints? Yes, what could be nicer than this girl falling in love with the Emperor of Austria (Karlheinz Böhm) and making the world a little bit better at his side? Nothing! And that is exactly why we love "Sissi"!
