There you had to find the best city scooter for your own purposes. The popular small vehicles were tested again in a further city roller test of the 04/2001 issue. The Wetzer Stickboard performed best, at that time available for 400 marks. However, this article is anyway due to the technology and quality of city scooters that have since been further developed outdated and so far Stiftung Warentest has not published a more recent study on the best city scooters.

7. Questions and answers about city scooters

7.1. How much do you have to spend for a good quality city scooter?

The Price range in models from the city scooter comparison is far apart. With a little luck, you can get a passable model from around 25 €. If you buy a rather cheap city scooter from Hudora, you should expect the wheels to wear out quickly. If you are looking for a Cityroller Aldi offer or a Cityroller Lidl offer, you should consider this. However, this applies more to the models that are mainly aimed at children.

For a really good and long-lasting city scooter, it is recommended to spend between 60 and 100 €. Especially if you want to do sports, you should buy a high quality city scooter. The same applies to city scooters for adults.

7.2. Which city scooters are suitable for adults?

Basically you can do this by the maximum height of the handlebar as well as the maximum loading weight mooring. A city scooter for adults should have a handlebar height of at least 90 cm and a load weight of at least 70 kg.
