Miracle bowel and child’s immune system.

The intestine has an exciting everyday life: it regulates digestion and nutrition, forms hormones and absorbs nutrients and water through the intestinal mucosa. At the same time, it protects us from the penetration of pathogens, allergens or toxins. The gut and its three companions form a strong unit – also as a barrier between the outside and inside of the body (immune system):

  • the protective intestinal flora,
  • the slimy mucus layer,
  • the outer intestinal mucosa.

Who does what in the gut?

About 80% of all immune or immune cells in our body are located in the intestinal mucosa. The mucus layer (mucus = mucus), which is formed by specialized cells (goblet cells) and contains important antibodies (secretory IgA), rests on it. The antibodies serve as a "protective coating" against harmful germs and substances before they penetrate the mucous membrane and there, for example. B. cause inflammation. Protective microorganisms settle on the mucus layer – they form the intestinal flora. These microorganisms support the intestine with regulated digestion, produce various vitamins and also play an important role in the defense against pathogens.

What is special about children?

Basically, the child’s intestinal flora develops in several stages and changes e.g. B. when changing the food from milk to porridge. From about three to five years of age, the intestinal flora then stabilizes – and resembles that of adults.

Detect problems quickly!

During its development, the intestine can encounter harmful influences that trigger a wide variety of complaints. If the mucous membrane areas are damaged by environmental toxins, chronic diseases, stress or therapeutic measures, it may be that the entire immune system is no longer functioning properly. Then it is important to keep the mucous membranes healthy in order to stabilize the immune system and thus relieve the symptoms of many diseases.

How does the intestine develop??

The baby intestine really comes to life at birth. In natural delivery, the intestinal bacteria are transferred from the mother to the newborn and support digestion. It looks different with a caesarean section: due to the lack of colonization via the mother, there may be a deficiency in certain intestinal bacteria. This deficiency in turn can later lead to annoying allergies (see: "If allergies arise."). Breastfeeding is also important for the development of the baby’s intestine. It not only promotes the bond between you and your baby, but also boosts the settlement of lactic acid-producing bifidobacteria. These do not produce gases and that is exactly what protects your baby from uncomfortable flatulence.

Problems often come with bottle feeding

If the bottle is fed from the beginning, toddlers often face painful "winds" and colic. Because: There are significantly more so-called gas-forming "putrefactive bacteria" in your intestine, for which the intestine is not yet prepared. In these cases, the use of suitable probiotics with specially selected bifidobacteria can help.

How do allergies arise??

What children are allergic to.

The reason for the development of allergies has not yet been fully clarified. An interplay of heredity, environmental influences and one’s own immune system is considered secure. It is striking, however, that children who are born by Caesarean section are at increased risk of allergies. Why? The first contact with microorganisms does not take place naturally. Instead, hospital germs are often the first settlers in the intestine. These irritate the mucous membranes and have no protective effect. The immune system is strongly stimulated but not yet trained to differentiate between "friend and enemy".

The gut fights on all fronts

Damaged intestinal mucosa only forms a restricted barrier. As a result, our immune cells come into contact with many normal intestinal ingredients. The problem: These are perceived as "foreign", the immune system may be overwhelmed and an allergic reaction is triggered.

Allergies are no nonsense

Allergic reactions often cause diseases such as B. in babies skin reactions and food allergies. Preschool children often suffer from shortness of breath and hay fever. Triggers can a. Pollen, dust mites, animal hair or mold. The immune system needs help so that the allergic runny nose does not become asthma: on the one hand avoid the allergen that triggers the reaction as much as possible and on the other hand to strengthen the barrier between the intestine and the immune system (mucous membrane, mucus layer, intestinal flora).

Itching: a real nuisance

Even infants suffer from inflammatory, itchy skin diseases with redness, scabby coating, blisters or tears. The best known: neurodermatitis. Anyone who then scratches compulsively worsens the skin problems – and suffers psychologically. Damaged intestinal mucosa can also be involved in skin problems – often associated with food intolerance.

The damaged intestine: the cause of problems

Infections and some medications in particular can damage your child’s intestinal mucosa and severely impair its natural barrier function. The consequences are manifold complaints such as digestive problems, restricted nutrient intake, flatulence and pain in the gastrointestinal area, diarrhea, allergic reaction or susceptibility to infections. Once the intestinal mucosa is damaged, the child’s intestine needs active support. The mucosal therapeutic Colibiogen® children contributes to the regeneration of an inflamed intestinal wall. It helps build up the intestinal mucosa through valuable metabolic products from Escherichia coli, Laves strain, thus promoting the development of the immune system. Colibiogen® children its concentration is adapted to the child’s organism, contains no alcohol and no preservatives. It is therefore also suitable for sensitive children.

Healthy intestinal flora – healthy defense center

A healthy intestinal mucosa is the prerequisite for a healthy and diverse bacterial flora. Bacterial flora (also intestinal flora) is the mass of all intestinal bacteria that colonize the intestine. They protect the body from harmful germs and are essential for the absorption and production of important vital substances. These fighters can settle well on a strong intestinal mucosa and perform their tasks. However, sometimes the body needs external help. If there are not enough good bacteria in the intestine, probiotic bacteria specially adapted to the child’s needs can be added. OMNi-BiOTiC® 6 contains six important, highly active lead germ strains that colonize your child’s intestine from top to bottom. With every antibiotic therapy, which puts a great strain on the intestine and the intestinal mucosa, the combination of Colibiogen® children with OMNi-BiOTiC® 10 AAD recommended. OMNi-BiOTiC® 10 AAD regulates the bacterial imbalance in the intestine with 10 scientifically proven strains of bacteria.

The Allergosan Institute has been developing, researching and selling products made from natural substances such as probiotic bacteria, plant extracts and minerals for 25 years, all of which have the aim of supporting our health, especially our intestinal health. Thanks to the intensive collaboration of the founder of the Allergosan Institute, Mag. Anita Frauwallner, with recognized scientists from medicine, pharmacy and biochemistry, it was possible to establish a naturopathic research and competence center around our largest organ, the intestine. At Allergosan, this resulted in the product series such as OMNi-BiOTiC® and OMNi-LOGiC, which contribute to more vitality, to the reduction of stress or simply to a healthier life, which can also have an effect in the form of weight reduction. Always in focus: the combination of the best that nature gives us to live and serious research to maintain our health.

Our products are selected according to the strictest quality criteria and meet the highest requirements. The latest findings in probiotic medicine and naturopathy are the cornerstones. Our goal is to find the best solutions for complex health problems. We want to combine scientific innovation and application security for the greatest possible health benefit for our customers. Optimal gut health – namely by colonizing the intestine with the "right" bacteria – forms an ideal basis for a vital life. Doctors already knew thousands of years ago: "Our gut is the basis for a healthy life". This fundamental finding is again very popular today, not only with intestinal problems but also with many complaints that at first glance are not associated with the intestine. These include diabetes and other metabolic diseases, skin problems, chronic headaches, but also psychological complaints such as depression and burnout. The products from the OMNi-BiOTiC® and OMNi-LOGiC series provide assistance in returning to a vital life.
