Crèche – concept, the children’s villa

Every daycare center has an educational concept. In the following you will find the concept of the children’s villa. If you have any further questions, we are of course always available for a personal conversation.

We look forward to you!

Conquer the world with your own drive

You, dear parents, know as well as we do, how important is the fine and gross motor skills for the development of your child. Your little darling needs time to master the movements and become safe in them. We give your child the time it needs.

The next movement sequence only follows if your child feels safe. Your child’s self-confidence and self-confidence will grow as a result of the fact that it has done something on its own.

We accompany your child and offer them developmental toys for independent discovery and research. Your child can discover different spatial perspectives through platforms and levels.

Creative with all your senses

Your little darling is creative from birth. With his innate abilities, he discovers the world on his own initiative and keeps trying himself new things. Through musical and creative-creative activities, we take up this characteristic, broaden the experience horizon and inspire your child’s imagination.

We offer for different age groups:

  • Singing together
  • Rhythmic games and movements
  • Make music and experiment with different instruments
  • Discovering creative means
  • Experience colors and materials
  • and much more

Clear boundaries and freedom

Clear boundaries and freedom – this seems to contradict each other at first glance. But through structures, rules and rituals your little treasure experiences points in everyday life that give it security, orientation and support. Between our recurring things like breakfast, lunch or nap, your child has the opportunity, for example in free play, to try out for themselves and to experiment with age-appropriate play material. This is how we strengthen your child and they themselves feel empowered.

Experience and learn social relationships

We want to teach your child good social behavior. We want to learn that everyone has their own personality and wants to be treated with respect and appreciation.

Feelings such as anger, sadness, disappointment, frustration but also joy, pride and love are feelings that everyone experiences in their lives. Your little darling feels these feelings too and stronger than we adults, but cannot name them exactly and cannot deal with them. We want to support your child and show them how to address conflicts and deal with them non-violently. This is how it learns to respect yourself and other children.

Table cover yourself

A healthy and balanced diet should start at birth. Eating and drinking together plays an important role in living together. When eating together, the children have time to share what they have experienced and learn to fit into the group.

The children quickly adopted eating habits at the table and are difficult to put down. That is why it is particularly important to us to set the right course here.

All food that is used in the children’s villa for breakfast and snacks is mainly sourced from certified organic cultivation, the Stuttgart markets or from local / regional cultivation. Our main meals are prepared every day, in our in-house kitchen, by our loving kitchen team, using fresh ingredients, handcrafted and carefully. We pay attention to compliance with a seasonal and varied meal plan. The special needs of the children, such as allergies, e.g. lactose intolerance or gluten-free diet are taken into account.

This also applies to breakfast, lunch and afternoon snacks and to all celebrations that are celebrated in the children’s villa.
We give the children water to drink.

The parents as the main caregiver

You, dear parents, are the main caregivers and cannot be replaced by anything or anyone.

That is why you are cordially invited to visit your sweetheart over breakfast or lunch. We look forward to your ideas, suggestions or suggestions for improvement. Please also tell us if you don’t like anything at all. After all, just like you, we want the best for your child.

Taking care of the little ones

When it comes to care, we attach great importance to ensuring that this is done in a loving and warm environment. In a separate, child-friendly room, your child’s privacy is preserved and the teacher can concentrate on your child. We support your child with drying out and with their own hygiene, such as washing hands and brushing teeth.

Eyes to and to rest ‘

After a busy morning with your peers, we offer your child the opportunity to take some time out. You can choose whether you want to sleep or go to the relaxation room. Singing songs, telling stories or soft music will make your sweetheart easy to sleep. If your darling chooses the relaxation room, a story is quietly read or told. This way, your child will also come to rest when he doesn’t want to sleep.

Get to know nature

In our children’s villa, there is no such thing as bad weather. We are outdoors for at least 30 minutes every day. This way we can explain the seasons to your child and show them how nature changes.

In our small herb garden, your little darling can plant the herbs with the other children and find them fresh in their lunch. This way your child gets to know another natural wonder and knows that it can create something useful.

Since some children are picked up after their nap, we have introduced Outdoor Day once a week so that these children can also play outside with their little friends. The children will then be given breakfast outdoors. If you prefer that your child stays in the house in winter, there is also a small group there that is looked after inside.

Discover the world in two languages

Since the children’s villa is a bilingual crèche, your child will learn English as a second language. But don’t worry, dear parents. We don’t push your darling into monotonous English lessons. We follow the idea of the immersion method. We have English educators and German educators. It is only ever communicated with the children in the respective language. This means that the English-speaking teacher only speaks English with the children. She supports her language with facial expressions, gestures and pointing. It is not translated. Your child thus learns the language itself. In this way, your child learns English with fun and games and grows up practically bilingual. It takes the English language like his mother tongue. Without any pressure or pressure.
How nice it is if your little darling in another country can order its food in English. Be amazed at what your child can do if you reinforce and support their curiosity.

observation

So that we can optimally support your child and you are always up to date with your child’s level of development, we write down everything important that has happened in the day-to-day life of your favorite. We also keep a diary, educational and learning stories and a memory book.

diary

Every day we write in the diary what your child has experienced. We will then give you this so that you can write down what happened in the evening and in the morning before going to the crib. Please bring the diary back to the crib every day. In this way, we can optimally support your child together with you and respond to their individual needs.

Educational and learning stories

The educational and learning stories describe how an educator experiences your child in a particular situation. We are following Margaret Carr’s approach. We do not assume what your child should be able to do at a certain age and what he or she can or cannot do, but we try to understand your child’s strengths in order to be able to support them better. Because often a child seems to have an obvious weakness. But if you take a closer look, you can see that it has developed other skills that other children do not yet have.
Your sweetheart is also individual in his development and learns at his own pace. We record this in the learning stories. Either they will find their way into the memory book or in the form of a letter to you.

Memory Books

Please bring in for the memory book book with blank pages with. We will then fill it with the best memories of your little darling. His little works of art, favorite rhymes, photos and the documentation of special moments find their place in the memory book.

The acclimatization

We want you, dear parents, and your child to feel comfortable and in good hands with us right from the start. This also means that there is a familiarization. The children’s villa carries out this according to the so-called "Berlin model", which is divided into three phases. Before that, you have the opportunity to get to know the teachers and ask questions in a preliminary discussion.
The Berlin model has proven itself very well in practice. Not only the children feel at home here. Parents also have a good feeling when they leave their children with us.

Phase 1:
For the first three days, a parent or other caregiver of your child comes into the child flu. The visit lasts no more than an hour or two. Your child can discover the crib world and do what it wants. It can always come back to you if it needs closeness or is unsettled.

Phase 2:
On the fourth day, we make a first attempt at separation. If your child is open-minded and does not keep coming back to you, you can leave the room for a short time. You say goodbye to your child, but remain close to the call. If your child cries and the teacher doesn’t comfort you, you can do it right away.

Phase 3:
If your child does not cry when you say goodbye, please only stay briefly in the group room and pick up your child at the agreed time. Of course, your child can take his "comforter" with him to the crib.

In the familiarization phase, you and your child get to know our premises and toys. You can familiarize yourself with our daily schedule and activities. You will also experience how we implement our concept in day-to-day nursery.

In order for your child to get used to it, we make sure that there are not too many familiarization children in a group. So we can concentrate on your child and make it easier for him and you to say goodbye.
