Light, robust, versatile and without unnecessary frills. Perfectly tailored to the needs of motivated young bikers: the Reaction 240 SL, our new junior hardtail. Our designers took a minimalist approach and used a heat-treated 6061 aluminum frame to make the children’s bike as light, reliable and powerful as possible. The powerful rim brakes provide easy control and best operability thanks to the brake levers adapted to smaller hands. The power modulator on the front brake prevents involuntary exits via the handlebar due to overly violent braking maneuvers. The smooth-running Shimano SLX 11-speed gearbox offers a wide range of gear ratios, so that even steep climbs can be driven. And the large-volume, super-light Schwalbe folding tires offer plenty of grip and comfort – for confidence-inspiring handling even on wet surfaces, while the wheels reduce weight thanks to fewer spokes.
