What is the culture ticket??
A cultural ticket includes Benefits for cultural institutions and events in Oldenburg. The cultural ticket of our university is not a separate ticket, but will ultimately be embedded in the Campus Card. Until this is possible, you can identify yourself with our partners with your semester ticket or student ID.
Which institutions participate in the cultural ticket??
The State Theater, the Theater Wrede+, the Casablanca and the Oldenburg Art Association
What are the conditions??
- Free admission in all own productions of the state theater (premieres, guest performances and special events excluded). Reservation is not possible; the tickets are available on the day of the event at the regular cash times.
- Free admission in all productions of the theater wrede + in the adult sector and in productions of ko.produkt and flausen + (premieres, guest performances and special events excluded). Reservation is not possible; Remaining tickets will be provided at the box office.
- Free admission to master concerts, lectures and exhibitions of the Oldenburger Kunstverein (except special events). Reservation of tickets is possible from the publication of the current concert program (by telephone) and keeps
Validity until 35 minutes before the event. - Discounted tickets in the Casablanca cinema
In the future, the ticket will be supplemented by additional cooperation partners.

The Solidarmodell offers advantages for the students, because the ticket is cheaper for everyone, and advantages for the cooperation partners – These can calculate with a fixed amount. Students with missing financial prerequisites can thus have access to the cultural landscape of Oldenburg. The price of the ticket per person will be just under 3 €.
Who decides whether the culture ticket is introduced?
The student Parliament had to make the final decision. But you could with your voice in the ballot make a recommendation and show the student parliament whether the students of the Carl von Ossietzky University want a cultural ticket or not. The result was positive: 84.01% of all participating students spoke in favor of the introduction of a cultural ticket. When could you vote?
At the 1.6.-2.6. 2017 the ballot boxes were held in Wechloy (ring level) and on the 6.6.-7.6. in Haarentor (Mensa foyer). On 07.06. was publicly counted from 6 pm to midnight in A4 4-419. The decision of the StuPa on the ballot is as follows: Resolution request ballot Kulturticket
When can I use the ticket??
The ticket will be introduced for the winter term 2018/19 – from October 2018 you can use your semester ticket or your student ID card to identify you at our cooperation partners and receive the benefits.
