Develop personalities

Our facility, newly built in 2003, offers around 140 children between the ages of 10 months and 11 years a varied everyday life in six groups. Each group has two rooms. In the house there is a work room, a media room, a meditation room, a large gym, a dining room, a therapy and relaxation room.

Our large garden is a special attraction that always encourages active movement. A hill invites you to go sledding or rolling down, large stones, a climbing castle and a swing facility, three small wicker huts, many vehicles and sand toys as well as a slush facility offer children various activities. A small terrace with benches invites you to have a snack when the weather is nice.
The institution also works closely with specialist services, schools and special education institutions to promote children better.

The most important collaboration For the benefit of the children, however, there is good cooperation in partnership with the parents.

Our mission statement

Social / legal mandate of the daycare center

The Bavarian education and training plan is the basis of our work. It regulates the external and internal concerns of the day care center.
Our work is supported by the Catholic profile of the wearer. Pedagogical specialist staff ensures the qualified care, education and upbringing of the child and supports the family in these areas.
In addition, the daycare center is an external cooperation partner (for schools, specialist services, special education institutions) and supports the training of specialist staff.
Our educational work is based on the life situations of the children and their families. We work cross-age, integrative and intercultural.

Our image of man

The individuality of every person is important to us.
Our facility wants to create a living space for the children by allowing them to develop and grow as part of their personality.
Children and parents experience respect and appreciation with us.
By integrating everyone, we want to give our children a positive image of people.

Make faith tangible

Everyone is an image of God and therefore unique and unmistakable.
We have a responsibility to preserve creation.
The course of the church year with its festivals is a guideline for our work. The children are familiarized with traditions and rituals that give their life support and direction.
In our daily interaction, the children experience Christian through our example values: how to treat each other with respect, to be there for each other and to be tolerant of all faiths.
The day care center forms a lively part of the parish.

Meeting life – our pedagogical approach

Our pedagogical action is based on holistic education. We work situation-oriented, integrative and generally supportive. The focus is on the individuality of each individual.
We create an environment in which the children feel comfortable and can develop their skills with fun and joy.
In everyday interaction, the children experience fundamental values and rules of living together.

hand in hand

We see reliability and trust as an important foundation because we know that children are the most valuable thing that parents can trust us with.
Our community is based on trust, empathy, honesty, openness, helpfulness and friendly dealings.
Our team keeps up with the times, reacts flexibly and is oriented to the different life situations and needs of families.

Our conception

Our educational work is based on the life situations of the children and their families. We work cross-age, integrative and intercultural.

The daycare center wants to introduce children to Christian values of life and faith in a child-like form, especially in conversation, song, prayer, and church festivals .
Language is the most important means of social contact. That is why we particularly encourage speech skills and language comprehension, and we also want to expand the children’s vocabulary.

The child’s creative abilities are also promoted in our facility primarily by providing the child with a lot of freedom and a sufficient range of materials in a relaxed atmosphere in order to be able to implement their own ideas in a creative way.
Experiencing your own body, mastering fundamental forms of movement, training your sense of balance and coordinating movement sequences are also important promotional goals in the field of body awareness: What is important for our body? How does it work? What is part of a healthy diet?
In the facility, all opportunities are used to follow simple work processes and manufacturing processes with the child and to let the child experience natural events.

Another important goal of our work is the promotion of the child’s intellectual abilities. Intensifying the ability to observe and remember and sensitizing the senses are part of our work, along with many other goals.

Social education is also very important to us. We promote, among other things, the development of the ability to make contacts, working together in a group, dealing with conflicts, integration and acceptance of people with disabilities and people from other cultures. The individuality of each child is taken into account.

Our groups

Rainbow Group

Since September 2004 the rainbow group has been an integrative group with 15 children. Of these 15 children, 5 children occupy an integrative place. This means that they have an increased need for support and / or care. Here in the house, they receive additional support from a social worker, speech designer, occupational therapist and physiotherapist from the early intervention center Josefinum.
The team in the group consists of two teachers (full-time) and a nanny (full-time).
Like all other groups, we also start our morning circle at 8.30 a.m. and there is the possibility of lunch.
Living and experiencing everyday life together, playing and learning together determine the daily routine and togetherness in our group. The children not only benefit from each other, but also from a wide variety of pedagogical approaches such as Maria Montessori ("Help me to do it myself") or elements from curative education support. We focus on every child and take their wishes and needs very seriously. So it is for us It is very important that the children are involved in everyday group life and that they support decisions. The child should develop into an independent personality, above all by promoting his independence and everyday practice.
