Football AG – long live sport

In addition to learning and discovering, we try to make the movement fun for the children. One of many activities here is our soccer club. Children are introduced to the sport of soccer in three small groups each morning. The children are trained by active soccer players, real soccer coaches and educators. As a relaxed start and for warming up, the children start with small games such as “Fire! Water! Storm! ”Or“ Hasche ”. Afterwards the handling of balls is practiced in a playful way. In addition to large soccer balls, small game balls are also used. Spread all over the room, the children have to collect them as quickly as possible. In the summer, the courtyard garden turns into a soccer field and it goes out into the fresh air.

KITA Lößnig

With us, every child is an individual personality – AWO KITA Lößnig

In the district of Lößnig, in the south of Leipzig, almost 120 children have fun every day in the integrative daycare center Lößnig II. Seven groups, from crèche to daycare, find a special retreat and shelter here, where they can develop freely. Each group of children has its own room as well as a sleeping area and sanitary facilities. The little ones can let off steam on climbing elements with slides, at the water feature, in sand areas or on the toboggan mountain on an outdoor area of approx.3,000 square meters. They come to rest in the herb bed and recharge their batteries. There is also a separate, separate courtyard for the very small KITA visitors, which they can access directly from their group room. Here they can develop individually, according to their age. The children regularly visit the "Sterntaler" puppet theater, take a look behind the scenes at the opera or go to the animal shelter. The little ones are also actively involved in the annual summer festival or events such as grandma-grandpa afternoons. But every kindergarten period also comes to an end, which is why AWO KITA Lößnig endeavors to sensitize the boys and girls to the upcoming in their last year of kindergarten. In the so-called school preparation year, we therefore work together with the teachers of the surrounding elementary schools in order to prepare future school children as best as possible. Our goal is to accompany and support each individual child on the path of their personal development. Because every child has his own, distinctive way of developing and appropriating his environment. Therefore, in addition to the daily pedagogical offers, we also offer special courses to promote development, such as swimming courses, English courses with the Dreikäsehoch language school and early music education by the Heinze Music School.
