How long does an implant last??

Can an implant “last a lifetime”? An implant will hold as long as the bone remains stable around the implant. Implants are possible despite osteoporosis?

It depends on the severity of the disease, but especially on the treatment of osteoporosis. Basically, implantation in osteoporosis with good prognosis is possible. Experience shows that the jawbones are less or less affected by this disease of bone metabolism. Sometimes patients receive so-called bisphosphonates in the context of osteoporosis or tumor therapy.
