And the underwater world is one of the top 3 in Southeast Asia.
Myanmar
Myanmar is also called the “land of the thousand pagodas” – and that is in truth a gross understatement. You can find temples and monasteries at almost every corner. Other destinations in Asia
In addition to the countries of Southeast Asia, we also report on destinations in some other Asian countries such as India, Sri Lanka or the Maldives.
India
The Indian subcontinent with its 1.2 billion inhabitants is not an easy destination. Especially life in the cities often leads to sensory overload. But India has not only about 5,000 years of history and culture of its own, but also famous hippie beaches, access to the highest mountains in the world and a unique flora and fauna. And of course, excellent food.
Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka has been an absolute backpacker dream for decades. You can expect great beaches, surfing and diving spots, beautiful national parks with a unique flora and fauna and a unique and interesting culture. In addition, Sri Lanka is known for its sharp and varied cuisine, which strongly reminds of the Indian cuisine with its rotis and curries, as well as for excellent tea.
Maldives
The Maldives are the dream destination for honeymooners. Whether it’s beaches or the color of the water, it’s hardly any better. In particular, the underwater world fascinates nature lovers, because in addition to colorful fish and corals, you can, for example, encounter rare whale sharks or manta rays. And that with first-class visibility.
