Ehrenburg: Children’s birthday on the knight’s castle, Ehrenburg

Living castle

The extraordinary children’s birthday

Birthday on the adventure castle

Anyone who dreams of celebrating his birthday on a veritable knight’s castle is in the right place at the “Living Castle” – it is possible on almost every Sunday and public holiday between Easter and All Saints Day between 11:00 and 18:00.

After the festive reception of the festive party with a welcome drink from the large ox horn, it goes into an exciting castle day with all sorts of crafts, pottery, bow and catapult shooting, an exciting Burgerkundung – and of course with “good food and drink” at the mighty knight’s table!

And while “normal” visitors to the castle still listen to the enchanting sounds of the musicians, the “little nobility” equips and attends to the ceremonial accolade of the host, resp. the honor of the celebrating damsel. A small “takeaway” for the birthday child and “Frozen from the stone cellar” for all young guests conclude an extraordinary birthday party in ancient walls

The group price of 220 € includes:

  • the entrance to Ehrenburg for a total of 10 people (children and adults), each additional birthday guest costs 20 € per person
  • a welcome drink from the horn and another drink for lunch
  • Participation in all games, competitions and the Burgerkundung
  • Lunch: chicken drumsticks and Burgkartoffeln, later ice cream
  • the honoring of the birthday child with accolade, certificate and “Mitnehmsel”
  • a birthday cake (10 pieces)
  • Please note that bringing your own food & Drinks are not allowed
  • A pre-registration is required.

It is now also possible to celebrate its cradle festival in the walls of the castle during the Ehrenburg summer and the theme festivals.

In the period between All Saints Day and Easter we also offer you the opportunity to celebrate your baby’s cradle in the imposing walls of the Ehrenburg. After the welcome drink from the Horn, the guests, big and small, can explore the castle under expert guidance through a medieval-dressed actor. They practice in the cherry-core spit, bake bread and learn how to handle a bow and arrow. Added to this is food and drink on the blackboard in the Knight’s Hall.
