For tourists, Spain is known for its endless sandy beaches, the historic metropolises of Madrid and Barcelona, as well as daring toreros. In addition, you will find here a unique, varied cuisine, which has much more to offer than paella, tapas and pinchos. Due to the large number of hours of sunshine, you and your children are guaranteed a family holiday in the fresh air. Do not forget sunscreen! Our lodgings are a bit off the beaten tourist track, giving them the opportunity to experience the region from their natural, authentic side. The sea can be reached in a few minutes and also large and culturally rich cities such as Barcelona, Girona or Palma are sometimes only a few kilometers away. There is nothing standing in the way of a varied Spain holiday with the family.

Holidays with children on the Costa Brava

It is not much better! The coast of Catalonia is one of the most impressive beach landscapes in Europe: High mountains, fertile valleys in the hinterland, bizarre rock formations, small bays with turquoise to deep blue water and endless beaches characterize the image of the “wild coast”. It is probably this varied landscape, as well as the autonomous Catalan culture and language that makes the Costa Brava one of the most attractive regions of Spain – also for a family holiday with children. While the hotel’s own sandy beach is only a few steps away from the accommodation, Barcelona can be reached by car in about 90 minutes. Girona is less than 40 kilometers away. In fact, Catalonia fulfills almost all the ideas one would expect of a holiday in Spain as a Central European. And most of the Catalan specialties such as paella, crema catalana or tapas are also delicious for our younger and younger guests.

Family travel Mallorca

The locals call their island “La Luminosa”, where mass tourism and untouched nature are close together. But if you stay away from the holiday centers around “El Arenal” on holiday, you will definitely find them here. The hidden bays with white sand and deep blue sea, the impressive cliffs, mysterious cave landscapes, bizarre mountains, green pine forests and thousands of years old cultural landscapes. Cities like Manacor, Palma, Pollenca and Sineu attract people from all over the world with their markets and their culinary and cultural diversity. Around 7 million holidaymakers (including 3 million Germans) come here every year to enjoy themselves in various ways and to recover from their daily work. In the age of gentle tourism, more and more visitors, including increasingly families with small children, are now discovering the other “face” of the island, which is more diverse than any other in relation to its size.
