The dolls’ heads, which are prefabricated from soft foam or cut themselves (depending on their ability), are covered with eyes, ears, mouth and hair. With the right doll dress, you can create your own stick doll to play with.

We need a ventilated room without carpeting, tables and chairs. We provide all material.

A theater education offering with figures to prevent cyberbullying

Watch the performance first …

Amy, Tarik and the heart emoji – An exciting and touching story about a first love that suddenly becomes a mockery of the whole school through cell phone videos, social media and class chat. The boundaries between bullies and bullies can quickly change.

… then do a workshop!

In a multi-part theater education program with theoretical and practical input before the performance, a follow-up discussion and an intensive exercise section, the children playfully deal with the topic of cyberbullying. With the help of figures you develop theater scenes in which the
emotional and psychological consequences of cyberbullying clearly and solutions are offered.

PROCEDURE

The program has a duration of two school days (10 units)

Workshop module I: introduction to theater education and information on cyberbullying: 45 min. (1 unit)
Theater-pedagogical exercises convey how quickly images and messages can be conveyed without
Spread clear sender on the net. Then there is information about cyberbullying in digital form.

Workshop Module II: "Amy, Tarik and the Heart Emoji". Presentation and follow-up discussion in the theater:
90+ minutes (2 units plus arrival).
A story about first love, soccer, bullying and cyberbullying. The students can then ask questions.

Workshop Module III: Figure game workshop: 270 min. (6 units plus breaks).
The pupils playfully implement a prepared cyberbullying scenario with characters in small groups and play them together. In exercises on the topic of perception and support in everyday life, they reflect on their own actions. This will be a solid foundation for the prevention of
and dealing with cyberbullying, etc. placed in the class community.

Workshop Module IV: Review and reflection: 45 min. (1 lesson).
Finally, the theater teacher comes back to the class after 8-12 weeks. Using theater pedagogical methods, what is experienced is reflected, for example, in the form of figures, and what is learned is anchored.

Suitable for 4th – 6th grades

Costs: 500 EUR including travel and materials + tickets for the performance
