The annual festivals that are formed in our culture and are based on processes in nature give our school year an inner order. For all of the pupils, the festivals represent a temporal orientation. They already have a premonition of what is to come. Everyone can perceive the grown abilities and increased attentiveness that children can experience from time to time in a completely new way. The anticipation of the festivities is fueled by the songs, the handicrafts, the design of the season table or stories

After the beginning of the school year, this offers Michaelifest testing and strengthening your own courage. We help the brave knight to free the stolen gems from the dragon’s cave.
We celebrate it before the autumn holidays Thanksgiving. our fourth graders thresh the grain they have sown and harvested themselves.
In the week of St. Martin we celebrate a lantern festival with the families. In the evening we walk through the dark forest, which looks very different from our day trips in the forest! We light up the path with the self-made lanterns and let songs sound through the forest – whether we are overheard by deer and fox?
At the end of November we transform the whole house of Tobias for the public bazaar. The children look forward to the carousel, children’s handicrafts and Christmas gift ideas.
With the very atmospheric Adventsgärtlein let’s get in the mood for the beginning of Advent.
The children walk in the middle on a laid spiral and gradually ignite their apple candles on the only candle in the room, so that you can experience how it gets increasingly lighter. During the whole process, soft flute or lyre music is sung.
December 6th to get we visit from a messenger from heaven, the saint Saint Nicholas.
He tells us the story of Maria and her little child and we are also happy about the gifts he brought with him in the sky bag.
During the Advent season, the teachers play it Nativity play for the students and for the public.
We start the New Year with the Epiphany image, where the Christ Child is visited by the Three Kings and given gold, incense and myrrh.
When it comes time to drive out the winter, we do some jokes, can carnival party, disguise us and slip into other roles. The house and its residents are hardly recognizable!
In front Easter and after Easter we celebrate two parties in the ballroom. The first more contemplative, then happily left out after Easter.
Before Pentecost we make the students in an artistic way on the special Pentecost event attentive.
We celebrate it on June 24th Johannifest. With a Johannifire we welcome the summer to play, song and dance outdoors.
The first Saturday in July is public summer party throughout the house Tobias with lots of games, music, culinary delights and lots of opportunities to exchange ideas and chat.
