Hikes for children and families – tour guides upper danube valley

Adventure and adventure-oriented hikes individually for families, children and youth groups in the Upper Danube Valley, Swabian Alb and Sigmaringen.

The compilation is made according to your wishes. The journey takes place on our own or we take over the planning for the journey by public transport. The campaigns are carried out in the Sigmaringen area and the Upper Danube Nature Park.

Here are a few examples of what your tour could look like.

Tour 1 – hike for family and children

"In the footsteps of the Hohenzollern" along the grottos over the Teufelsbrücke to the Amalienfelsen

Inzigkofen im Donautal (circular route along the grottos, Teufelsbrücke and Amalienfelsen)

Guided hike along the grotto circular route, possibly with barbecues at the fire pit below the grottoes. On request, a visit to the farmers’ museum / herb garden of the Inzigkofen monastery in the Danube valley

Daily kilometers: 3.5 kilometers

Tour 2 – Hike for family and children

Geocaching – A completely different city rally, with map and compass through the district town of Sigmaringen

Geocaching is a modern treasure hunt and scavenger hunt. The participants are assigned tasks that they try to solve using a map and compass. The result as a letter / number code is included in the solution of further tasks. After reaching all stages (points), you use the letter / number codes obtained to decrypt the location of the cache (treasure). This requires tact and direction, because it is not only a matter of orienting yourself along the paths with the aid of a map and compass, individual puzzles are also solved with a map and compass. Tour 3 – Hike for family and children

Sigmaringer Forest – Robin Hood looking for a new retinue

Anyone who wants to step on Robin Hood’s side can prove himself at the competition in the Sigmaringer Forest. Measure yourself at the stations rope, slingshot, blow gun and throw arrows and rings.

The small GPS hike leads through the Sigmaringen city forest and along the panorama path on Brenzkofer Berg. The integrated competition stations promise adventure and fun. Medieval disguise can be worn with pleasure.

Time: Half-day event (price plus € 1.50 per participant for the blowpipe)

Tour 4 – Hike for family and children

Forest Olympics 2012 through the Sigmaringer Forest

Adventure play stations provide fun, games and excitement

The participants start from the meeting point and go through a forest and adventure course. During the course, the participants / players must take part in various Olympic adventure games and collect points.

When all Olympic stations have been completed, the award ceremony and award ceremony for the athletes take place. The final barbecue ends an exciting and unforgettable event.

Tour 5 – Hike for family and children

Night and torchlight hike in and around Sigmaringen

The night hike stretches along an approximately 5-kilometer circular route. Here the participants will get to know different lighting devices and forest games as well as sensory games. An obstacle course can also be integrated. After a break, the last few kilometers are continued as a torchlight hike.

Material: lighting material and torches are provided

This tour is billed as a full day tour, because two tour guides / hiking guides are required at night due to safety. Material and meals are offered as a fixed price.

Due to the registration at the district office, early registration is required
