Pollution or economy

What does globalization entail?.
* an always welcome topic for diploma theses, even doctoral theses *

This topic is so extensive and extremely interesting that many people do not realize how much they overestimate themselves with a roughly formulated topic.
Because globalization extends across all subject areas. Economy, politics, environmental protection, health care, psychology, racism, religions, values, flora, fauna, nutrition etc.
But I would now like to briefly deal with the bi-directional connection between pollution and the rising economy through tourism.

Tourism is always good for a region. Because this increases the region’s GNP and the population enjoys an improved standard of living on average. But what are the consequences for the environment??
The more tourists visit a region, the more garbage is generated. Exhaust gases, from visitors and suppliers, pollute the air. Beach visitors leave their rubbish and the vegetation is destroyed by careless tourists. I like to be part of it. Because you drop something too quickly and I certainly don’t want to go to the North Sea by bike. Especially since I carry a huge amount of luggage with me as a woman. Therefore I do not consider the plane, maximum luggage 25kg. Especially since a flight is extremely expensive and you can no longer afford it as an intern.

The worst are the forecasts of climate researchers. Because in the near future the earth is said to heat up so far that it is no longer possible to go south in the summer. Most holidaymakers will then be drawn to the Baltic or North Sea. The fatal consequence is an overcapacity of the lakes, so that they would tip over.
Those are nice prospects … bathe in a heap of algae, great …

So we now see the relationship between the environment and the economy in the field of tourism … hhhhhmmmmm … I think I’m not going to worry about that anymore, others can do that much better and by the time I am dead anyway.

Föhr is more than just a small island in the North Sea.
There is on Föhr always more to discover.
In addition to the castles and museums, Föhr also offers an interesting fauna and flora.
The diversity of the island is already apparent when looking for the right accommodation.
Föhr is very child-friendly. And the residents are proud of that. Because there are a lot of playgrounds and the few cars drive gently across the island. Parents don’t have to be afraid like in a big city.
You can also relax from everyday stress in the AQUAWYK – Föhr. Because it is more than just a swimming pool. The AQUAWYK – Föhr is a real temple of wellbeing.
Every 30 minutes, the bathing fun turns into an adventure swim when waves rush through the pool. Floor bubblers, bubble loungers, gush showers and a white water channel complete the offer.

  • Windsurfing, kite surfing

On the North Sea you can try many of these sports and take a course to have the most important details explained to you by professionals.

Often the best beaches where you can actively practice water sports are rather remote from the tourist strongholds. But with a rental car you can get there very quickly.

Sylt – calm and action

With 99.14 km², Sylt is the fourth largest German island. In the North Sea region it is number 1.

It is located north-west of the islands of Amrum and Föhr.

On the west side there is a nearly 40 km long sandy beach, on the east side is the mud flats, which belong to the Schleswig-Holstein Wadden Sea National Park and largely dry in low water.

The shape of the island is constantly changing from time to time.

Endless dream beaches, tranquility, untouched nature, relaxation but also sport, shopping, wellness and lifestyle await you on Sylt.

Sylt embodies relaxation, wellness and tranquility but also lifestyle and action in one.
