The hotel in Dorf Tirol is located only about six kilometres from the spa town of Merano. Dorf Tirol lies on a sunny high plateau and is characterised by a landscape rich in contrasts, which has everything from cypresses and palm trees to impressive mountain peaks to offer. This area is also home to Castle Tyrol, the former seat of the Counts of Tyrol, which now houses the South Tyrolean State Museum of Cultural and Regional History.
