If you have graduated from school or are about to graduate but do not know what to do after school, an internship is a great way to get you started. Here you have enough time to discover a job from all sides. You get to know the company and its processes, you can ask the employees and trainees all sorts of questions about their work and get an impression of the working atmosphere. Especially if you are not sure if a particular job is right for you, an internship is a good alternative to starting a training program right away.

If you have not received a study or training position, the annual internship is an introductory qualification (EQ). At twelve months, one speaks – as the name implies – of a year’s internship. Good to know: Prerequisites for a compensation for your internship are that it is voluntary and lasts longer than three months. Duration, compensation and other basic data will then be recorded in your internship contract.

Through an internship, many young people have found their future employer, because if you are with fun and commitment to the cause, that will remember your boss and offer you a training contract after your internship. But even if this is not the case, an internship brings you a lot, because a good internship certificate and a recommendation from your supervisor work wonders in the training search.

Therefore, at the end of your internship, you should ask for an internship certificate, which you can add to your application. Our tip: Ask your boss for a qualified internship certificate!
