Rama Navami is the festival in honor of the day of Sri Ramacandra’s apparition. "Paritranaya sadhunam, vinashaya ca dushkritam"In order to free the pious and destroy the villains, Krishna appears in His original form or as one of His incarnations in each age. He came as Rama to the earth to kill Ravana, who terrorized the entire universe, and to give the perfect example of following Dharma, religious duties and morality. Rama taught through His life how to behave in situations of loss, gain, joy or suffering. The Ramayana describes the real identity of Sri Rama and His deeds and games on Earth. The memory of His name and His games can rid a living being of all sins.

We, the Krishna Temple in Munich, would like to invite you all to join us in celebrating this extremely auspicious celebration. Let us all come together, chant the holy names of Sri Rama and hear about His eternal games.

We request all the devotees to please take care of this at high priority so that we do not cause any inconvenience to other neighbors. As it is Sunday, loud kirtans and singing should be avoided. We shall happily greet any neighbors. Parents should take care of their children by keeping them engaged and quiet.

We cordially invite you to our upcoming feast, Nityananda Trayodasi, i. on the day of the apparition of Sri Nityananda Prabhu, on Sunday, February 17, 2019.

Sri Nityananda Prabhu, a Vaishnava saint and a well-known religious figure of the Gaudiya-Vaishnava tradition, is an incarnation of Lord Balarama. Nityananda Prabhu was Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu’s friend and disciple. They are also often mentioned together, as Gaura-Nitai (Gaura,"the golden one", also refers to Chaitanya; Nitai is the shortened form of Nityananda) or Nimai-Nitai (Nimai is another name Chaitanya). In the Gaudiya-Vaishnava tradition, Nityananda Prabhu is an incarnation of Lord Balarama. Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, his eternal brother and friend, is considered the most merciful incarnation of the Supreme Person of God, Sri Krishna.

The temple will re-open in this new location on the day of Utpanna Ekadasi (3rd December 2018). On Monday (3rd Dec) the new temple will be visited by HH Bhakti Prabhava Swami Maharaj and HG Viswavasu Pr. Maharaj will be giving a seminar on Congregation development at 7 PM. We request all the devotees to attend this seminar as it is very important for Munich congregation development.

Sri Gaura Nitai with all the paraphernalia and belongings wants to be quite challenging.
