ImplantsImplants are currently the highest quality form of dental prosthesis that comes closest to nature. A dental implant is an artificial tooth root that is firmly anchored in the bone. We will be happy to advise you in a personal conversation about the optimal type of restoration with implants for you.

Splint therapy/ functional analysisMany people who suffer from stress grind their teeth at night or during the day. This can lead to wear and tear of the teeth, overloading of the temporomandibular joints and even pain in the head area. To protect the teeth and to eliminate pain, we make individual splints for you.

Children’s treatment Dental care begins with the first milk tooth for children. So that your children get used to the dentist, a visit to the dentist should take place early. We will practice brushing your teeth with the little ones and give you tips on nutrition. If there should be a hole, don’t wait long, small defects can be repaired more stress-free. implants

Implants are the current “gold standard” treatment option with regard to replacing missing teeth. A dental implant is an artificial tooth root (generally made from titanium), which is anchored in jaw bone. They can be used to support crowns or bridges and may be used to stabilise loose dentures. Implants are (regardless of age) often the optimal treatment option available to replace single or multiple missing teeth. We place implants on an outpatient basis in our practice and are happy to advise you personally about the implant options available to you.

endodontics

Endodontology deals with the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the dental pulp (which contains the tooth’s nerve). In many cases it is possible to conserve the affected teeth through a root canal treatment. Restoring and holding onto your teeth for as long as possible is our top priority.

Periodontal treatment

Halitosis, bleeding gums, gums shrinking back and teeth becoming loose are often symptoms caused by Periodontitis. More than half of adults suffer from inflammation of the gums (gingivitis), which, when left untreated can lead to the loss of teeth (or implants). We will help you find out the likely risk factors causing your periodontal disease and discuss with you what the subsequent periodontal treatment entails, so that you can help us look after your smile.

Individual prophylaxis

Through professional teeth cleaning we can help prevent the diseases which affect your teeth and gums. This treatment involves the removal of staining and calculus (hardened plaque deposits) from those hard-to-reach areas which you miss when brushing (such as along the gum line and deep pockets beside your teeth). Our dental hygienist will also support you with tips on how to improve your oral hygiene routine, to keep your teeth healthy for years to come.

oral surgery

The field of oral surgery includes all the surgical interventions and treatments which can be carried out in your mouth. In our dental practice most surgical treatments, e.g. wisdom tooth removal, root resections and cystectomys will be carried in-house on an outpatient basis.

Splint TherapyMany people who suffer from stress grind their teeth, either during the day or while they are sleeping. This can lead to tooth wear and strain on the jaw joint, which can manifest as pain in the jaw, head or neck. We can produce an individualised splint from a mould of your teeth to protect your teeth from damage and to treat grinding related pain.

Child Patients

Dental care should start with the eruption of the first milk teeth. We encourage you to bring your children along for a check-up, so that they can get used to visiting the dentist. We practise tooth brushing techniques as well as discussing the effects of diet on your child’s dentition. If you should happen to notice a cavity, do not wait long to contact us, small cavities can be quickly and painlessly restored. We look after our little patients and their teeth, our top priority being that they develop a healthy and stress-free attitude towards dental treatment.

Anxious Patients

The reasons behind dental anxiety vary greatly between patients. We understand that even the thought of a visit to the dentist can be stressful for some people and our dental team are used to dealing with patients of all levels of anxiety. We aim to make your visit as stress-free as possible and hope to help you to overcome your fear. We aim to begin with small, easy treatments so that you can gradually build a trusting relationship with your dentist. During the treatment, you are always in control and can at any point decide to stop your treatment. With our help you can overcome your dental anxiety.
