At the Steinbeis School of Management and Innovation, however, the Marketing MBA is designed with numerous attendance phases. There are a total of 68 attendance days (including two foreign presences), which are evenly distributed over two years (four semesters). These presence blocks take place every four to six weeks from Thursday to Sunday in Berlin or Munich.

  • At the University of Münster, the on-site lectures are arranged as learning blocks on five consecutive days in Münster. All in all, you will be on site for 30-40 days in three or four semesters (depending on the model).

    Did you know that you do not necessarily need a first degree to start a Marketing MBA degree?     "For the Marketing MBA at the University of Münster you should bring a university degree. The level is high enough despite considering the ‘secondary occupation’. If you want to finish excellently, you have to be serious there. It should also be rather "seniorige" or management experienced persons, because the study is strongly oriented to case studies and group work. The more experienced the individuals, the higher their own learning quality. Marketing fundamentals are absolutely necessary."

    That’s why I decided to study for an MBA:
    "After the first work experience, I had the choice to reorient myself or study. Due to personal reasons, I decided to study. If I had the choice, I would have worked another 3-5 years in another company before I start my studies.

    My tip: I can only advise against the MBA without work experience and GMAT. The professional experience is the most important in my opinion, the GMAT gives the impression of what to expect from an MBA. There is no free time (at least not with most full-time MBA I would think): If you imagine job + GMAT preparation + best still trained on a marathon – then you are still not quite there where an MBA starts."

    "A question that you may not be able to answer directly. Would I be where I am now without the MBA? Nobody can answer that. When I started the MBA in 2008, the crisis started and peaked in 2009, when I started looking for a job. At that time I had to remember what I was doing very well> Sales.
