33 child seats tested
The ADAC and the Stiftung Warentest have 33 child seats from all weight classes in the criteria of safety, operation & Ergonomics, pollutant content, cleaning and processing tested. Five products have the verdict "poor ”: Graco Logico L, Graco Junior Maxi, Easycarseat Inflatable, Kiddy Guardianfix Pro and Peg Perego Viaggio Convertibile.
In the instructions for use of the two Graco models Logico and Junior Maxi stands that the backrest can be removed, but this means that the child has no side impact protection in the event of an accident.
The child seat Easycarseat inflatable is an inflatable product and fails in front and side impact. In addition, after parking in the warm sun and then cooling down, the product is no longer sufficiently filled with air.
