What does Netflix cost??

For fans of series and film fans, the online streaming platform Netflix offers a lot. A Netflix subscription costs between € 7.99 and € 13.99 per month.

However, you can save a lot by using an account with others. Here you can stream movies and TV shows on Netflix from 3.50 Euro per month.

Cost factors of a Netflix subscription

Netflix offers the possibility to choose between different subscriptions. The models differ only in the image quality and the maximum number of devices on which the service can be used simultaneously.

The entire film and series offer is available to you regardless of the selected subscription model. Unlike comparable streaming services, you can not separately retrieve films and series that are not included in the offer for a fee.

You can even download some parts of the program for free from the Netflix app and then watch them without an internet connection. This only works on tablets, smartphones and PCs with Windows 10.

Well-known movies that run on Netflix are for example. “Pulp Fiction”, “The Great Gatsby”, “Hangover”, “Avatar”, “Mission: Impossible”, “Django Unchained”, “Finding Dorie”, “Pretty Best Friends”, “Shutter Island”, “12 Years a Slave “,” Down the Hedge “or” Interstellar “.

But here too the program is updated regularly.

Even people with a particularly unusual or sophisticated taste get their money, because Netflix also tries to take niche films and series into the program.

The different payment options and how you can save

You can pay at Netflix by deducting the amount from your account on a monthly basis via SEPA direct debit mandate, credit card or PayPal.

Netflix offers no discount for students or trainees unlike similar platforms. However, you can save money by sharing an account with other people.

Although Netflix only permits this so-called account-sharing within a household, it is tolerated. So it is common practice that up to four people share a subscription.

For several users you can also create different profiles. Just place it under “My profile” -> “Profiles manage” a new profile for each user.

The personal preferences and also the point at which you last finished the series or the film (also in the middle of a sequence) are saved per profile. So you can easily start the next time you use where you left off last time.

When sharing a subscription, the cost per person is lower. So it is for the standard subscription only about 5.50 euros and for the premium subscription only about 3.50 euros per user per month.

For the Ultra subscription, the cost would be 4.25 euros per user per month.

With the basic subscription, the monthly price of 7.99 euros remains logically.

Charge credits with Netflix vouchers

Those who do not like to pay online or give away some Netflix credits will also receive Netflix voucher cards in various supermarkets, electronics and drugstores as well as post offices and some stationery shops.

You pay them at the cash register and then rub the code free and then enter it on the Netflix website. The deposited credit can now be used.

It has no expiration date and multiple vouchers can be redeemed at the same time.

This payment option is particularly suitable as a gift or for people who only want to use Netflix in phases.

After the credit has been used up, you will receive an e-mail and can then use another voucher or pay by another method of payment.

Vouchers are currently worth 15, -, 25, – and 50, – Euro to buy. However, a Netflix coupon can only be redeemed in the country in which it was purchased.

Requirements for using Netflix

Easy to use, Netflix is ​​one of the leading online streaming platforms. You only need one or more Internet-enabled devices on which you want to use the program.

Terminate Netflix account

If you are dissatisfied or do not feel like subscribing, you can cancel it easily. The termination process is transparent and clear:

1. First log in to your account.
2. Click on the “Account” icon and then on the “Account” option.
3. Now click on the item “cancel membership”.
4. Afterwards, you only have to confirm the cancellation with “Close termination”.

There are no additional costs for termination. The subscription is still valid until the end of the already paid month or the free trial month and can be used accordingly.

Netflix will save your settings up to 10 months after termination, so you can easily reactivate your account if necessary.
