Give your child fast and effective relief from pain and fever
Our Nurofen Junior 60 mg suppositories were specially developed for children in whom oral administration is not possible, e.g. due to difficulty swallowing, vomiting or dizziness caused by fever.
The suppositories are offered in an easy-to-open blister pack and are dosed according to age.
For infants ≥ 6 kg body weight (from 3 months) the Nurofen® Junior 60 mg suppositories are available in pharmacies – also without prescription. If prescribed by your doctor, the costs for children up to the age of 12 will be reimbursed by the health insurance companies.

Children 3-9 months (6-8 kg): 1 suppository, if necessary 1 additional suppository after at least 6-8 hours. No more than 3 suppositories within 24 hours.
Children 9-24 months (8-12.5 kg): 1 suppository, if necessary 1 additional suppository after at least 6 hours. No more than 4 suppositories within 24 hours.

In children who suffer from stomach ulcers or other stomach diseases, in children who have kidney or heart problems, in children who are hypersensitive (allergic) to the ingredients. If an allergic reaction occurs, stop use and seek medical attention immediately in quantities exceeding the recommended dose. Excessive use may be harmful to health for more than 3 days. If your child’s symptoms persist, consult a doctor for advice. If the blister is already broken before first use.
