Here you will find technical schools, clubs, youth centres and student academies in Baden-Württemberg sorted by location and region.

Most of the offers are open to everyone who enjoys technology and natural sciences.

Only the Hector Seminar and the Heidelberg Life Science Lab are specifically aimed at gifted young people. Applications are usually submitted via school.

The Schülerforschungszentrum Südwürttemberg has a wide range of offers and four locations in Tuttlingen, Bad Saulgaul, Ulm and Überlingen. The SFZ students are also very active in competitions.

The Youth Research Centre in Böblingen focuses on energy and the environment. There will be cooperation with the energy park planned by the district on a neighbouring site.

The NwT-Bildungshaus is of interest to all generations: from kindergarten age through primary school to pupils from secondary schools and experienced engineers, they will find here one or two things they did not know about the world of science and technology.

In the area of computer science there is the IT-Projekthaus and especially for girls the Girls’ Digital Camps of the Hochschule Esslingen.

Exciting offers for children and young people, such as solar, wind or hybrid energy, robots and electric motors. The vhs Technikschule offers day courses and longer courses.

Primary school children get their money’s worth just as much as older young people. There are courses in photovoltaics, robotics, milling courses and also holiday offers such as the soapbox course.

On 450 m 2 of laboratory and workshop space, groups, school classes and individual children and young people can experiment and, together with professionals, tackle concrete projects and implement their own ideas. Company tours are also on the programme.

The German Cancer Research Center DKFZ offers working groups, seminars and academies for gifted young people in grades 8-12.

The Hector Seminar promotes particularly gifted students at its three locations in Heidelberg, Mannheim and Karlsruhe. They then take part in Hector seminars from the 6th grade to the end of the school year. The future “Hectorians” will be suggested by their teachers.

The association arranges speakers for schools in the area and offers courses for children and young people. Individual projects are carried out together with the Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences.

The Jugendforschungszentrum Herrenberg-Gäu e.V. offers taster projects for primary school pupils and a large number of core projects for young people. In addition to robotics and a lobor driving licence, everything here revolves around flying, satellites and other aircraft.

The Schülerakademie Karlsruhe offers children and young people from primary school to class 12 practice-oriented projects, science camps, events and exciting contacts to companies, laboratories and research institutions in the Karlsruhe technology region.

In the Schorndorf research factory you can explore exciting topics from nature and technology at numerous interactive stations. For kindergarten groups and school classes there are varied courses for experimenting and tinkering.

Doing it yourself is the order of the day here. With the latest technology you can get creative in various youth centres in Stuttgart. Whether with the laser cutter, the Mindstorm robot or in the film studio.
