Our weekend or

The #denkst in pictures!

Today I participate again in the action “weekend in pictures”, where almost everything was about my first participation in the # denkst16 turned.

So if you want to know what a blogger conference is and what you do there, I wish you lots of fun! &# 128578;

At the Saturday morning, my alarm clock rang at 4:30 – I was on one for the first time Parent Bloggers Conference and wanted to arrive punctually at 8.30 in the Nuremberg city his. Of the Flight with Eurowings was o.k., There were no drinks, magazines or snacks (as Air Berlin has done better in direct comparison – but more on that later).

On the flight I read the book: Big asses on small chairs: A kindergarten mother unpacks! *, Which is also my contribution for a book exchange was on the #stalk.

Because I was well in the time, I still have my quick Luggage stored in the airport hotel:

Then it went off to the city: The subway went from the airport in about 20 minutes to the main station. From here it was only about 2 minutes walk to the venue.

Arrived at the Design Office Nuremberg it was a bit like the characters of my favorite series had climbed out of the TV (or computer): I came into a room full of “strange” people and saw all but familiar faces.

After a brief orientation phase, the lectures started:

After the lecture, I briefly had the opportunity with Dr. med. Puff to speak and have to say that I totally share his opinion:

Parents need to learn to trust their children and themselves and stop constantly comparing the level of development of the children with others and then try to “optimize” their child by having it prescribed therapies (speech therapy, occupational therapy, etc.).

Each child is unique and has its own pace – what children really need are not constant control and pressure to perform rather trust and the Possibility to make own experiences.

Then followed by a contribution from Christine Finke (mama-work.de) on the subject: “How do I make a wave on the internet?

Christine has with her Sense for explosive topics (For example, abolition of the Federal Youth Games, etc.) already for some Waves on the internet worried and pointed out in her very honest and humorous contribution, That a high presence in the media is not necessarily a guarantee for a lot of traffic on the blog. In addition, she also warned of possible negative consequences (calls, threatening letters, etc.) of particularly strong polarizing contributions.

Following her talk, there was one Coffe break (and very tasty cookies – unfortunately I forgot the brand … otherwise I would have mentioned them here).

After the break, it went with a very interesting contribution from Béa best which you probably still from her “Tollabox” – knows time. She is now blogging under the name Tolla Bea and is with her creative, positive and engaging style as well as her motto: “Creative Ideas for Small, Tall and Eternal Children” very successful (-> Almost 100,000 Facebook fans – of which I’m still far away with my 4,500 fans). &# 128521;

As a brand specialist, she gave valuable tips and suggestions for positioning her own brand / blog.

Then it was time for it Having lunch: There was a small buffet with Rindergeschnetzeltem, rice and vegetables and also a small salad buffet.

After dinner I went for the lecture “Alu” Berlin decided who had wondered if Parent blogs are politically relevant and came to the conclusion that this is definitely the case.

She called for courage and writing on topics that move one, ask questions, voice displeasure and concern.

A detailed report on her talk can be found here on her blog “Big Heads”.

Now followed a veritable “Fireworks of information”:

Svenja (“My Svenja”) spoke surprisingly open about her personal success secrets. That is not self-evident, because as in all areas of life there is also a certain competition among bloggers.

That this competition is totally superfluous and it makes a lot more sense to work together and support each other, is an idea that I absolutely share.

Apart from that was The way in which Svenja has reported on her work is absolutely fascinating to me. I realized once again how much Structure, energy, analytical thinking and ambition necessary to become as successful as it is today. So much the more sympathetic that she now wants to share this knowledge with other bloggers.

Another one Highlight of the day was for me the lecture of Patricia Cammarata, aka “The Nuf” (her name is her blog, on which she is very intelligent and at the same time humorous way relates to topics that concern them).

I find it particularly great that she is constantly evolving, open to new arguments, and thus also makes her readers think.

In any case, with her contribution to the topic: “Privacy in Family Blogs – Focus: Do children’s photos belong on the Internet?” She managed to persuade me to rethink and “expand” my opinion..

Le >MeWorkingMom and BerlinMitteMom missed that would have interested me very much.

And I would also have liked to participate in the Bento Workshop … but everything does not work. &# 128578;

My conclusion to #denkst: It was great and very inspiring!

At 6 pm I drove back to the hotel. There I ate something (club sandwich & Fries)

Then I enjoyed my free evening, so: remote Viewed, put me to bed and ate the hotel Toblerone &# 128578;

The next morning it was early 6.30 back to Dusseldorf, because I wanted that Communion by no means miss the daughter of our friends.

There was for breakfast Oreo biscuits at the airport:

The flight with Air Berlin was very funny thanks to my nice neighbor. In addition, there were both only about 40 minutes flight Magazines as well as one coffee and a (albeit cold) Raisin Stütchen -> So much more service than Eurowings, even though the price per track was identical (about 50 €)

Oh yes, this great coloring book Lonely Planet Ultimate Travelist Coloring Book *
I discovered on the way:

Luckily it was mine father so love to pick me up so early from the airport! &# 128578;

Then it went first to the church and after the Communion in the Restaurant or cake eat:

In the evening, the children have the “Goodie Bag” discovered and tested right away, whether you can actually paint on glass with the Woodie pencils *:

So this is what my weekend looked like.

nice that you have reported on the #denkst. At the beginning, I was also thinking of whether to go there. I did not really dare then * g * Nuremberg is not even just around the corner. Although I’ve been publishing the idea of publishing my own blog for a long time, it’s a bit of a hiccup in implementing it … the courage is still missing &# 128521;
I would be interested to know if there will be a # thinking next year – was there something said?

In any case, I’m glad that you had a lot of fun &# 128578;

best regards
Kerstin

P.S: Do the pens work as well as the photo looks like. &# 128512;

Hello Kerstin,
yes, as far as I know there will be again in 2017 a #denkst. Maybe we’ll see each other there then. &# 128578;
If you need help getting started with your blog, feel free to contact me. I tried to summarize the most important points here: https://www.moms-blog.de/wie-schreibt-man-einen-blog/

best regards,
Patricia

I’m not sure if we talked about the sensory overload, but I can sign your position on the discussions! Thanks for the great formulation! LG from Münster

I can not answer for sure, because there were so many new faces, but I’m happy about your nice comment!
best regards,
Patricia

My opinion on the discussions, which in hindsight u.a. on Twitter, looks like this:

Bloggers are a cross section of the population. There are greedy (-> Goodie bags), generous, jealous, generous, arrogant, shy, funny and insecure people. Often it is not easy to distinguish one from the other: sometimes two insecure people meet each other, put on their “confident” face and later find each other arrogant, because no one has rushed to the other happily … that’s how it is the perception of others and oneself. &# 128521;

It is similar with the monetization of the blog:

Some want to make money with the blog, others see it as a hobby or even as a vocation … Some are just beginning to blog and have to orient themselves in this new “world” first, others are already very successful and want to continue to “grow” , but see their prices endangered by the “little ones”. Transparency helps here. I think everyone should first concentrate on himself and his blog / niche, remembering that he also started small and did not spend his energy to see what others are doing wrong but doing better themselves. My claim to me is fair and tolerant. &# 128578;
