  • 75 ml Water (lukewarm)

The recipe shows the ingredients only the basic recipe. In the description, however, we tell you how you can bake wonderful variations of the pan bread. They all work the same and the ingredients are the limit in your creativity.

Preparation: make pan bread yourself

  1. First of all, make the basic dough for our pan bread. For this we first dissolve the sugar in a glass with the lukewarm water. This warm sugar water is the perfect breeding ground for the yeast cultures, which is why we also mix the yeast in the water.
  2. The flour comes in a mixing bowl, in the middle of a small Kuhle and in this our Hefewasser. Then add a pinch of salt and the whole thing can be kneaded. Now add the olive oil and the dough will be nice smooth and supple.
  3. From the whole kneading the dough should recover now. For this we cover it with a clean kitchen towel and let it rest for at least 30 minutes. If you have more time also like a little bit longer.

Baked bread fast. This is not a problem with home-made pan bread.

Many are afraid to make a dough themselves. Mostly the excuse “it lasts so long” in the room. It takes a dough usually no longer than 5 minutes, only letting go takes some time. But I do not necessarily have to stand by and wait until it’s done. Delicious pan bread is thus actually made quickly and a very tasty homemade side dish.
