Digital media already in kindergarten

The use and meaningfulness of digital media in kindergarten age are rightly strongly questioned. There are certainly ways in which new media can already be used in elementary education. It depends on the method! How do the media influence kindergarten children? What are the dangers and opportunities of digital media? What are the options for using new media at home or in kindergarten??

Mobile phone, internet and PC in the children’s room

Computer games and the like are fun, relax, open up new living spaces for the children, and you can do a lot "learn", one hears again and again. But "how much, from when and what?" many parents wonder. Children are exposed to many new influences, especially when they start school. Cell phones are also used to exchange videos with violent content. Dr. in Karin Urban shows what parents can do to teach their children to use new media responsibly.

Understand behavioral children

What do children want to tell us through "difficult" behaviors? Through their behavior, children show how they are doing psychologically. Fears of children, phases of defiance, separation difficulties from the loved one and other behaviors occur in the "normal" development. But when does one speak of "behavioral problems"? When does the child and his or her environment suffer from a certain behavior? MMag. Flora Papanthimou gives detailed answers.
