carnival

The couple of princes of the city of Düsseldorf, Prince Martin I and Venetia Sabine, collect donations during their session – among other things for the children’s aid center on Euler Strasse. However, the tollsters did not want to leave the handing over of a check and so they organized a carnival session for the little jerks there. There were glowing children’s eyes, music, magic and even a dancing prince.

Already from afar on Wednesday (February 13th) the cheerful children’s laughter could be heard from the gymnasium of the children’s help center. Over a hundred young Jecke had dressed in colorful clothes and were eagerly awaiting what the prince couple had prepared for them. Prince Martin I and Venetia Sabine were initially completely overwhelmed by their many guests.

Princesses, police officers, dragons and much more had come into the gym and were beaming at the couple of princes who had brought in their aide and mayor Thomas Geisel to strengthen them. In moderation, they were supported by Michael Riemer, the good soul of the children’s help center.

With the first item on the program, Volker Rosin, the guests went through the hall. All children and adults also accompany him through his songs, confident in lyrics, singing and dancing. Magician Charlie Martin amazed the audience and was then supported by many little assistants in his magic tricks.

After a refreshment with drinks (which were sponsored by Astrid Brauckhoff) and Berliner Ballen, the child prince couple of the Düsseldorfer Originals and their Kindertanzgarde continued. Prince Maurice and his Venetia Lisa distributed their medals and many of the little girls in the hall looked at it enthusiastically, what the presented young dancers of the originals. The originals had not only brought their singer Jule Klapdor with them, they were also accompanied by Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and Daisy, who as characters had to serve for many photos.

The castle count couple of the Benrath castle fools designed the lively end of the afternoon. Castle count Sven, an experienced child entertainer with four of his own children, and his countess Eva, first presented a waltz and then practiced a dance with all the guests. Of course, Venetia Sabine was right in the middle of it children and Prince Martin was also taken by the castle count’s hand. So everyone danced together in the end of the colorful, cheerful children’s session.
