7. Use of Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (following: Google). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, ie text files that are stored on your computer and that allow an analysis of the use of the website by you. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, due to the activation of IP anonymization on these websites, your IP address will be shortened by Google beforehand within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to a Google server in the US and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address provided by Google Analytics within the framework of Google Analytics will not be merged with other data provided by Google.

The purposes of the data processing are the evaluation of the use of the website and the compilation of reports on activities on the website. Based on the use of the website and the Internet, other related services will be provided. The processing is based on the legitimate interest of the website operator to analyze and adapt his online presence.

You can prevent the storage of cookies by a corresponding setting of your browser software; however, we point out that in this case you may not be able to use all the functions of this website in full. You may also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) to Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading the browser plug-in available under the following link and install: Browser Add On to disable Google Analytics.

In addition or as an alternative to the browser add-on, you can prevent tracking by Google Analytics on our pages by clicking on this link. An opt-out cookie will be installed on your device. This will prevent the collection by Google Analytics for this website and for this browser in the future, as long as the cookie remains installed in your browser.

8. Using Script Libraries (Fonts.com)

In order to render our content correctly and visually appealing across browsers, we use script libraries and font libraries on this website. Eg Fonts.com (https://www.fonts.com/web-fonts). Web fonts are transferred to the cache of your browser to avoid multiple loading. If the browser does not support the webfonts or prohibits access, content will be displayed in a standard font.

The call of script libraries or font libraries automatically triggers a connection to the operator of the library. It is theoretically possible – but currently also unclear whether and if so for what purposes – that operators of such libraries collect data.

The privacy policy of the library operator fonts.com can be found here: https://www.fonts.com/info/legal/privacy

9. Using Google Maps

This website uses Google Maps API to visually display geographic information. When using Google Maps, Google also collects, processes and uses data about the use of map features by visitors. For more information about Google’s data processing, please refer to the Google Privacy Notice. There you can also change your personal privacy settings in the privacy center.

10. Embedded YouTube videos with enhanced privacy

On some of our websites, we embed Youtube videos. The operator of the plug-ins is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. We use YouTube in enhanced privacy mode. This mode, according to YouTube, means that YouTube does not store information about visitors to this site before they watch the video. When you visit a page with the YouTube plug-in, it will connect to Youtube’s servers. Youtube will be informed, which pages you visit. If you are logged into your Youtube account, Youtube can assign your surfing behavior to you personally. This can be prevented by logging out of your Youtube account beforehand.

If a Youtube video is started, the provider uses cookies that collect information about user behavior.

Anyone who has disabled the storage of cookies for the Google Ad program will not have to expect any such cookies even when watching YouTube videos. Youtube also stores non-personal usage information in other cookies. If you want to prevent this, you must block the storage of cookies in the browser.

For more information on data protection at “Youtube”, see the provider’s privacy policy at: https://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/

11. Social Plugins

Our websites use social plugins of the providers listed below. The plugins can be recognized by the fact that they are marked with the appropriate logo.

These plug-ins may send information, including personal information, to the service operator and may be used by the service provider. To activate a desired social plugin, it must first be activated by clicking on the corresponding button. Only through this activation of the plugin is the detection of information and its transmission to the service provider triggered. We do not collect personally identifiable information by means of social plugins or their use.

We have no control over what data an enabled plugin collects and how it is used by the provider. At present, it must be assumed that a direct connection to the services of the provider will be expanded and at least the IP address and device-related information will be collected and used. It is also possible that the service providers try to save cookies on the computer used. Please refer to the privacy policy of the respective service provider to see which specific data is collected here and how it is used. Note: Currently we do not use Facebook plugins. Basically, if you are logged in to Facebook at the same time, Facebook can identify you as a visitor to a particular page.

We have integrated social media plug-ins on our website: Pinterest Europe Ltd., Palmerston House, 2nd Floor, Fenian Street, Dublin 2, Ireland

A link is set to the following social media platforms (recognizable by the respective figurative mark): XING SE, Dammtorstraße 30, 20354 Hamburg, Germany; YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Ave. San Bruno, CA 94066, USA

12. Google AdWords

Our website uses Google Conversion Tracking. If you have reached our website via an advertisement sent by Google, Google Adwords will set a cookie on your computer. The conversion tracking cookie is set when a user clicks on a Google-served ad. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages on our website and the cookie has not expired, we and Google may recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Cookies can not be tracked through the websites of advertisers. The information gathered using the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for AdWords advertisers who have opted for conversion tracking. Customers are told the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a conversion tracking tag page. However, they do not receive any information that personally identifies users.

If you do not want to participate in the tracking, you can refuse the required setting of a cookie – for example, via a browser setting that generally deactivates the automatic setting of cookies or set your browser to block cookies from the domain “googleleadservices.com”.

Please note that you are not allowed to delete opt-out cookies as long as you do not want to record measurement data. If you have deleted all your cookies in the browser, you must set the respective opt-out cookie again.

13. Inquiry by e-mail, telephone or fax

If you contact us by telephone, fax or e-mail, all personal data (name, address, content of the request, etc.) transmitted to us in connection with the processing of your request will be collected and processed for this purpose.
The basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO, if its purpose is related to the performance of a contract or if it is necessary to carry out pre-contractual measures. Otherwise, the processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO on your consent or in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO on legitimate interests on our part (satisfactory processing of your request).
The data transmitted to us will be stored with us until the processing purpose ceases or you exercise your right to delete or revoke your consent, unless mandatory statutory provisions stipulate other retention periods.

If you apply by telephone, mail or e-mail or fax, personal data will be processed by you (in particular name, address, date of birth, curriculum vitae, past employment, schooling, personal wishes and requirements.) The legal basis for this is Art. 1 letter b DSGVO, Article 6 paragraph 1 letter c DS-GVO or Article 6 paragraph 1 letter a DSGVO, if you have given your consent.
Processing takes place for the purpose of carrying out the application process.

Your data will be stored in the event of non-employment for a period of 6 months after the end of the application process (with receipt of the cancellation), unless mandatory statutory provisions stipulate other retention periods or you have given us consent to the longer storage of your personal data.
