Paradise!
Loved our stay @ Helios. Maria met us on the day of check in and gave us lots of insights on how to explore Santorini. Everything was PERFECT!!
I would also like to mention Sunil as he was very helpful during our stay and made sure that we all were enjoying our stay on a daily basis. Also would like to thanks Daisy for keeping are room refreshed on a daily basis.

Amazing!
This is an amazing property with sunset views! Maria accommodated us within hours after we found out another property (not hers) had double booked us and made sure we were well cared for. Our family of five had a wonderful stay. Sunil was always available, had great restaurant recommendations, and brought breakfast daily. Highlights were the hike to Fira, catamaran to the volcano, the amazing food, Atlantis bookstore, wandering the streets in the quieter evenings, and toasting the sunset every night from our amazing private terrace! Location, location, location!
Helios was everything my friends and I had hoped for and more. from the minute we arrived Sunil took great care of us. Arriving was fairly seamless. I highly recommend using the driver you can contract through Maria as the property is tucked away. Sunil met us and carried all our luggage up and down stairs to the property which was amazing. Having stayed on Santorini before I knew the steps were quite a work out! Our first sunset was STUNNING! I’ve traveled the world and have never had a better view. We felt like true VIPs tucked away on our private terrace with a front row seat! Literally hundreds of people above us jostling for views. Maria’s place is everything it is advertised to be and more! Definitely worth every penny. Sunil was amazing! Checked in with us every day, gave us great recommendations for restaurants. He made sure we had a basic orientation of Oia and how to get around. The property had space for all of us. 4 adults and 2 teenagers. if you don’t mind sleeping on the couches in the living area. There are 3 beds one on the main level. A bed in an upstairs loft and then one in the cave wine cellar. Bathroom was gorgeous well appointed. Kitchen was definitely adequate for our purposes of coffee/ breakfast as we were out the rest of the day til sunset. You really won’t find a more gorgeous, prime location for sunset in Oia for the price! Maria owns a jewel. the property is stunning and well kept with A/C that works well. The sunset terrace can’t be beat! I hope to stay at Helios again next time I visit Santorini! We felt like stars with tourists stopping in front of our door to snap photos every day. Sunil is a gem, can’t say enough great things about him! Stay at Helios and you won’t be disappointed!
Quick, but wonderful stay!
We stayed in Oia for one night – to truly experience the cave house and beautiful sunset, and this place provided the perfect experience to do so! The place is very cool and the rooftop terrace is amazing! Many people wishing they could have the view from this house’s terrace. Help was provided to carry the suitcases, wine was provided for sunset, and the house manager, Sunil, was extremely friendly and helpful!
Great views, but the quality of the accommodations, for the price, were dissapointing
Accommodations were not luxurious. For example, towels felt like sand paper, hot plate did not work, breakfast provisions were stale baked goods. The hot tub and the pool were a long walk to the unit. The quality was not commensurate with the price. We were told to call them when we were at the parking lot, which was full and difficult to find. We called for help in finding the lot, she said should be close. When we called back to tell her we were at the dive shop, we kept getting a fax machine. Eventually, Sunil showed up at the dive shop.
The views from the deck were amazing for watching the sunset.
Sunil, who carried our luggage and took care of us during our stay was very sweet.

HELIOS cave house is located on the volcanic cliffs and you certainly got a bird’s eye view watching the cruise boats as they sneak from the cape and follow the sun all the way to sunset.
As described in details on our website and exchange of emails, because there are no addresses in Santorini, accordingly to our standard policy, we provide specific directions either via our website or via email referring to the route to our meeting point. We also provide the guests with our mobile and landline phone numbers in order for them to call us upon arrival. Our porter will be there to help with luggage and guide them to the cave house they booked. And we always highly suggest a transfer service. In case you prefer to rent a car we would point out that, since there is only one road in Oia, all parking spots are along that road.

Regarding luxurious accommodations: we advertise a “unique traditional experience” with all modern amenities. Linen are silk/cotton and towels are of the best Egyptian cotton.
Breakfast provisions, as advertised in the description of the site, consist of honey, butter, marmalade, milk, fruits, juice, eggs, biscuits, wheat bread, cereals, corn flakes, 3 kinds of coffee and tea and cocktail of herbs, which we refill every day. As a supplementary offer, out of charge, we provide a tasty variety such as cheese- ham- tomato sandwich, spinach or cheese pie, yogurt with fruits & honey or other “Greek breakfast” delicacy! Apart from been fresh every day provisions, this variety is always considered by our guests to be tasty and of the best quality.
The cooking device is of the latest technology and needs touch control for operation which you probably are unfamiliar with, nevertheless it operates as designed. There is always the instruction manual it in the drawer.
The hot tub and the pool, with open sunset views, are, on foot, only 2-3 minutes away from the unit.
