Dentures – to bite, nice and feel good

Which dentures are right for me? How much does dentures cost me and how can I cut costs? What should I look for when choosing dentures? Many patients are concerned with these and other questions because dental restorations should look natural, last as long as possible and still be cheap. On Zahnersatzsparen.de we have put together a lot of information about this important topic. Here you can find out, for example, which types of dentures exist and in which they differ.

We inform you about different materials and how you can reduce the cost of your dentures by up to 80 percent with high-quality dentures from Zahnersatzsparen.de (MDH AG) – without sacrificing quality or reliability.

We also regularly and extensively deal with the topics of dental care and oral health in our online magazine DIE32. It pays off to check in again and again, because the range of guide articles is constantly growing.

What will this cost me?

For the costs of dental treatment, you must always consider two aspects: the treating dentist receives a fee for standard care (treatment), the amount of which is fixed in the scale of fees for dentists. If dentures need to be made, additional laboratory costs are added. These are composed of the materials used and the services of the dental technician.

Your dentist will provide you with a treatment and cost plan that includes the costs of both the dentist and the laboratory before you begin treatment. Your health insurance company will pay part of the costs, but will only refer to the so-called regular care when calculating the subsidy. At this cost, you receive a subsidy from your health insurance company of 50-65 percent (maximum share of 65% only if the bonus booklet is fully managed over 10 years). The remaining difference must be financed as a patient. Exceptions are only possible in cases of social hardship. For direct questions about the hardship case, always contact your health insurance company directly.

While you only have a few options (for example comparison offer) for a dental fee to reduce costs, you can save a significant amount of laboratory costs – up to 80 percent. Because with cheap dentures from abroad, you benefit from significantly lower production costs in China, without having to compromise on the quality or reliability of the dentures. And just as you, as a patient, are free to choose your dentist, you can also choose the dental laboratory yourself – MDH AG basically works together with every established dentist in Germany and can take on the production and supply of quality dental restorations for a reasonable price. Please talk to your dentist about this.

What types of dentures are there and what options do I have?

Dentures should always restore the function and aesthetics of healthy teeth. If a tooth is damaged, it must be provided (repaired) by a dentist, otherwise adjacent teeth or the gum may be attacked and damaged. Even a tooth gap is not alone a cosmetic problem, but can affect the food and speech. With suitable dentures, however, these problems can be remedied permanently and efficiently.

Basically, dentures can be divided into three groups: Fixed dentures, removable dentures (here also combined dentures, so stuck and removable) and implant-supported dentures. Fixed dental restorations such as crowns, inlays or bridges are always used when there is still enough tooth substance to which dentures can be permanently attached. For example, a crown is used to protect the remaining tooth root and the pulp and to restore the natural chewing function. To correct permanent discoloration, flaking or misalignments, veneers can be used. These wafer-thin veneer shells are glued to the tooth surface and ensure an even, radiant smile.

Removable dentures is usually used when the number of stable teeth in the mouth is not sufficient to secure permanently fixed dentures permanently. Then, a partial denture, for example as a telescopic prosthesis or prosthesis prosthesis, be a dental prosthesis solution. If only a maximum of two teeth are missing on one side of the jaw, a bar-type prosthesis is often the best way to bite back and start laughing. Even with a standard prosthetic restoration with a staple prosthesis, you can save on material and labor costs with MDH AG.

If there are no longer any teeth in the upper or lower jaw, a full denture represents the classic restoration with removable dentures. Full dentures, which are manufactured according to the latest standards of dentistry and laboratory technology, convince by their pleasant wearing comfort and a completely natural-looking aesthetic. Chewing, talking, biting off, all this can be made possible with a toothless jaw with the help of a full denture. And thanks to cheap dentures from abroad also pay.

In the case of implant-supported dentures, an artificial tooth root, for example made of titanium, is first placed in the jaw and completely healed there over the course of several months. On this artificial tooth root then a crown is placed, which looks like a real tooth and is just as stable and resilient. Dental implants are usually the optimal supply for implants, but you will have to cover the additional costs for this service yourself. But with implant abutments such as crowns from MDH AG, you can reduce the costs of implant-supported dentures by up to 80 percent.
