MuseumPasseier, St. Leonhard in Passeier – The exciting life of Andreas Hofer

South Tyrolean Archeology Museum Bozen – Ötzi the Iceman

A must visit for every Bolzano visit! Unique in the world! More than 5300 years ago, a man crossed the Tisenjoch in the Schnalstal Valley in South Tyrol, where he was murdered and of course preserved in the ice. Ötzi, probably the most famous South Tyrolean, and all his equipment, can be viewed in the South Tyrolean Archaeological Museum in Bolzano. The highlight of the exhibition is the lifelike reconstruction of the man from the ice. Definitely worth seeing!

Wildlife Rainguthof near Gfrill on the Gampenpass – a special petting zoo

Urlesteig Sarntal – open-air adventure park with various stages

The Urlesteig in the Sarntal is a huge nature trail in 6 stages, ideal for water rats, climbing masters and naturalists.
