Saxon sports crowns awarded

Saxony’s sports fans have decided: Nordic combined Eric Frenzel, biathlete Denise Herrmann and the bobsleigh team Francesco Friedrich were honored with the Saxon Sports Crown at the Saxon Sports Gala of the State Sports Association in Saxony in Dresden on Saturday evening and celebrated by over 1,000 guests.

During the Youth Olympic Games from 9 to 22. January In 2020, the dsj academy camp of the Deutsche Sportjugend (dsj) will take place in Lausanne (Switzerland). Youth team Germany for Lausanne 2020 complete

The German Olympic Sports Confederation will send a 90 active youth team Germany to Lausanne for the third Winter Youth Olympic Games. The team consists of 13 athletes from Saxony. The games will take place in Switzerland from January 9th to 22nd instead of.

Winter sports offspring under the national youth games flame

"Show your sporting talent!" Is the motto once again when the Saxon winter sports talent meets from January 24th to 26th for the Sparkassen Landesjugendspiele 2020. The winter sports centers of Altenberg, Chemnitz, Erlbach, Klingenthal, Johanngeorgenstadt and Oberwiesenthal host the competitions of the young athletes.

100 sports clubs fly the flag for the Free State

The location campaign “That’s how Saxon works.” Welcomes a total of 100 new advertising partners. The winners of the club competition have been determined

LSB & "So goes Saxon."

Saxon clubs were able to compete in the joint competition of "So goes Saxon." and apply to the State Sports Association of Saxony. Now the lucky winners have been determined: They will each be awarded with 2,000 euros for current projects or tasks of daily association work. Continue reading
