What does sedation mean??

Many dental patients experience tremendous fear from the dentist and even tremble at the first appointment. This fear may come from an earlier bad experience or from trauma that cannot be forgotten in anxiety patients.

With larger dental treatment such as tooth implantation, the implantologist must be able to work in peace, which is very difficult, if not impossible, for anxious patients who move their heads back and forth or cannot sustain a long dental treatment while sitting still.

In modern dentistry, as an anxious patient, you have the option of having dental treatment with sedation.
