Dental supplementary insurance term: there are differences?
Supplementary dental insurance is usually a long-term agreement that will continue for years. If an existing insurance contract should nevertheless be terminated, the minimum contract term and notice period must be observed. However, the duration varies considerably depending on the tariff and can be between one month and two years.

What is the term of an additional dental insurance?
After conclusion, many insurers provide for a minimum contract term in which the contract cannot be terminated. However, this term varies between the individual tariffs and can range from just one month (e.g. Ergo Direkt ZAB + ZBB + ZBE) to one year (e.g. Advigon Dental Health Special) up to two years (e.g. Allianz DentalBest). The duration of a tariff is therefore very unpredictable and should be checked before closing. In most cases, dental supplementary insurance policies with low benefit limits provide a long term in the beginning, while tariffs with strong restrictions require a rather short term.
