Child benefit after training

If your child is about to finish an apprenticeship, it’s best to let us know in good time. We will explain to you what evidence we need for this.

If your child has completed his education and started work, you usually have no entitlement to child benefit more. It is best to inform your family fund about this before you start work.

In principle, you should always let us know when your child has finished his education. We will check the actual end of the apprenticeship and pay the child benefit that you are still entitled to as soon as possible.
