Christmas poems for children

Christmas poems for children

Christmas is a feast for the whole family. All relatives from near and far come together on the holidays to celebrate together. This time is always particularly exciting for the little ones in the family. The wish list is written lovingly and every day a door is opened, behind which small treats are hidden. Santa comes over at the beginning of December and together with the parents, delicious gingerbread, cinnamon stars and vanilla biscuits are conjured up in the Christmas bakery. When Christmas Eve arrives, the children stand in front of the beautifully decorated Christmas tree with big eyes and a shining smile on their faces and curiously unpack their packages. Christmas is full of magic.

S`Christkind is coming soon

Well, unfortunately, Nicholas didn’t visit me personally. But that was definitely not because I was not a good boy; because, I’m always very good, well, let’s say mostly. As I said, personally I was not allowed to get to know this beard wearer, because this year he was so busy with the children that the poor, small, black flat was just not enough for me. My people think that for Santa Claus it was a stroke of luck because he would have left our house with a disheveled beard. My wife has been missing tufts of hair since I moved in here because I am so keen on it. In any case, this Santa Claus has probably during the night when we are all at "mattresses listening" were two gifts smuggled into the house for my friend Ari and me.

Arthur Santa Claus

Arthur Santa Claus

It was traded in the USA as THE Christmas surprise in 2011 – but went in Germany "Arthur Santa Claus" mercilessly at the box office. Wrongly, we think, this animated film by young director Sara Smith is one of the most original and lovable Christmas strips that the film industry has had to offer in the past 10 years.

The story: Arthur, a nice but somewhat clumsy boy, lives with his family at the North Pole. His father is none other than Santa Claus himself – but it has a more representative function, because Steve, Arthur’s unsympathetic brother, is in charge of the book, who leads a strict regiment over Christmas. In the third generation there is Grandpa Santa Claus, a grumpy old man who mourns his earlier career because he used to be Santa Claus. It is the job of the Santa Claus family – how could it be otherwise – to deliver each child their gifts on time for Christmas and make Christmas the most beautiful day of the year, the feast of love. But some things go wrong this year: A little girl remains "without gifts". Arthur doesn’t think twice and goes with Grandpa Santa Claus and little Elf Bryony to make up for this mistake. A turbulent journey begins, because well-intentioned is not necessarily done well … there are some obstacles to overcome. How’s it going – can Arthur still save Christmas??
