The ultimate Asterix and Obelix wild boar hunt

This game idea was developed and tested by Alexander Dohl from Neuweiler. The game may have to be adapted to the respective group situation (depending on group size, number of employees). Alexander has already submitted several contributions.

Game idea:

We are in 50 BC. All of Gaul is occupied by the Romans. All of Gaul? No! A village populated by indomitable Gauls does not cease to resist the intruder. And life is not easy for the Roman legionaries who occupy the fortified camps Babaorum, Aquariem, Laudanum and Kleinbonum…

But the sky seems to be falling on the heads of the Gauls. At least they run out of wild boars due to mysterious circumstances. For this reason, the mission is to catch wild boar for the Gallic village. There is even a price for the team that ends up delivering the most wild boar. The teams consisted of approx. 4 young people.

Wild boar hunting options:

Wild boars in the forest: There are still a few wild boars in the forest. But the number is limited. The youngsters can search for hidden paper boars and collect points. Each paper boar scores one point.

Searching for new repertoires: The youngsters can start looking for new wild boar supplies. To do this, however, they must collect information where it could be found. There are different opinions of Gauls and Romans where the youngsters could find the supplies. To do this, they have to question the people moving in the forest and meet the demands or games they want to achieve Hints to get and finally find the stock.

Always the first person to whom a group comes can give the group a wish list which they have to fulfill in order to get the hint. If the group arrives with a wish list, the first person (1st.on the Wish list) to send the group on again (note: where the group will be sent to! See below!). The second person gives the item to the group after completing the task or after passing the game. If the group has fulfilled all wishes / fetched all items and comes back to the starting person, they will be informed (where the stock is). The group “catches” the wild boar from the supply and takes it to the game manager. As soon as the first group has delivered the supply and visited all Gauls or Romans (+ completed the game) the game is over. If the group does not complete the task or the game, the Gauls or Romans are out of tune. To try the game again, the group must bribe the person. She does this by bringing candy to the person. This gets them at a candy dealer (free of charge) who moves freely in the field.

Important information for employees:

  • play the game with all groups
  • Game is only over when the game leader ends it
  • All groups must have played all games
  • If 1st on wish list => forward to the respective person (note: state your wish here, i.e. e.g. "I want a magic potion" (NOT: "go to Miraculix)
