It can be that simple: Choose the number of entrance tickets, VIP tickets, photo shoot tickets or autograph tickets you want and proceed to checkout. The tickets will then be sent to you automatically by email.

What are the opening hours?

We open the gates for all ticket categories from 10:00 in the morning.

VIP ticket holders have access via a separate queue.

Saturday, 10:00 am to 18:00 pm

Sunday, 10:00 am to 17:00 pm

ATTENTION: The site is NOT barrier-free! This means that wheelchair users do not have access to all areas due to the nature of the ground and the lack of lifts on site.

In general, the castle grounds are uneven. Enter at your own risk!

I have tickets to the cancelled Epicon Evets. Can I also use these tickets for the upcoming German Castle Con?

The tickets for the events “MFC SPECIAL, COMES AFTER MITTELERDE” and “MFC EXCLUSIVE GOT” have been sold and refunded by the ticket provider EVENTBRITE. All tickets purchased by invoice directly from the organizer are unfortunately not affected. Unfortunately we cannot offer any further refunds here.

For all tickets that were sold for the August event “Medieval Fantasy Convention” via the ticket provider YOUR TICKET as well as by invoice and bank transfer via the organizer, applies:

Please email us your invoice and a scan or photo of your bank statement to prove that you paid for the ticket to [email protected] with the subject “Medieval Fantasy Convention Ticket”. We collect and check how many tickets / ticket buyers this affects and then consider a solution. This is voluntary on our part and is subject to change, as we need to get an overview first.

The deadline for sending in the certificates is 31.5.2019. We will then consult and collect feedback. Please have a little patience.

Can I bring my child to the event?

Yes, children can be brought. There is no age limit for attending the event. Children aged 0 to 5 years have free admission. For children from 6 up to and including 12 years of age there is a reduced entrance fee when accompanied by a parent or guardian. An official proof of the child’s age must always be carried and must be shown if required.

The child will not have access to Photo Shoots, Meet and Greets or the Platinum VIP area at the stage without a separate ticket. A separate ticket is required for this. The parent or legal guardian must ensure that the child is properly supervised during photo shoots or Meet and Greets.

A visitor must be at least 14 years old to attend the event without an adult companion. The badge must be carried at all times and must be shown when required.

Are refunds possible?

Purchased tickets are generally excluded from return and cancellation. This applies to all entrance, VIP, photo shoot, autograph, Diamond Pass, Meet & Greet tickets. If a guest cancels and does not attend the event, there is no entitlement to reimbursement of admission tickets and VIP tickets. Purchased Photo Shoot / Autograph / Meet & Greet / Diamond Pass tickets for the respective guest will automatically be refunded to the account with which they were paid in the event of guest cancellation.

Do I have to bring the printed ticket?

Yes, the tickets are to be brought along in printed form. The ticket must be ready for admission and in a scanable condition. Attention: The QR Code can only be scanned once. After scanning, the ticket is validated.

Is it a problem if the name on the ticket does not match the name of the participant?

That’s not a problem. The tickets are not personalized. The name on the ticket does not necessarily have to match the name of the participant.

Are there different entrances for day and VIP ticket holders?

Yes, there are different entrances / queues for the different ticket categories. These are marked in advance online and on site in the form of signs.

Where can I pick up my VIP bag as a VIP-TICKET holder, how do I receive my VIP vouchers and how can I redeem them?

The VIP-Bag will be handed out to every VIP-Ticket owner directly at the entrance. The VIP vouchers for autographs and photos can be found directly in your VIP bag. All VIP ticket holders will receive generic autograph and/or photo shoot vouchers in their VIP bag. You can redeem them at your favorite star on Saturday or Sunday of your choice. A sufficient contingent is of course reserved. This means that even if a guest’s autographs or photos are sold out, you can still redeem your vouchers there. Please note the Photo Shoot times of the individual guests. Should individual star guests be excluded from the VIP vouchers (special guests), this will be marked accordingly in advance and on site. No cash payment of the vouchers.

Do severely handicapped persons and their companions need an entrance ticket?

Visitors with a severely handicapped pass with mark B (the B must be present in the pass) need a normal admission ticket (day ticket, VIP ticket) for the event. The accompanying person receives free admission if an auxiliary person is required for the severely disabled person on site, regardless of the ticket category of the visitor with a severely disabled person’s ID card with mark B. The accompanying person is entitled to free admission to the event. For this purpose, the badge with mark B must be present at the entrance. This only applies to admission. The escort will not have access to Photo Shoots, Meet and Greets or the Platinum VIP area at the stage without a separate ticket. A separate ticket is required for this.

When are the photo shoots & autograph times?

Every star who offers official photo shoots has one fixed photo session per day. The corresponding dates can be viewed online and on site in advance. These schedules are subject to change without notice and may be subject to change due to delays. There is no entitlement to a photo at a certain time, even if the dates were published in advance. All photo shoots are guaranteed to take place during opening hours between 10 am and 6 pm.

The times of the respective photo shoots will be communicated on our website and social media shortly before the event. The time indicated in the ticket is only a placeholder.

The autograph tickets can be redeemed at the tables of the stars during the day. If there are fixed autograph times, this will be communicated on site.
